WOW! BOY WERE YOU THOROUGH …I totally understand so much better now, thank you! PS~ the charts you made that followed your dialogue made all the difference in the world for me.👏🏼🏆
Thank you for the broad overview of the topic which is incredibly important given the baby boomers aging out and their adult children’s level of responsibility and participation in their care. Please consider doing more on each individual topic or level of needed care and your suggestions and insights in what to look for in each facility to help guide the adult children to be more fully participating in their parents, health care needs The cost associated with some of these facilities we’re not covered by insurance or social programs can be financially devastating and leave the in-home spouse broke and unable to care for their own financial expenses. That’s a whole other conversation and the reason I do what I do to give some financial freedom to help offset the expenses and provide guaranteed housing security for the in-home partner/spouse. Thank you again.
Very informative and helpful. Seems to me the system uses lots of categories to describe the facilities, patients, and services that are provided. The categorization process also abstracts away the human element which eases and distances the emotional fear of the aging process away from the providers themselves. I'm not suggesting this is wrong or morally questionable, it makes perfectly good sense. Lots of Blacks work in this field and I believe it's because they are naturally skilled in this area, and they can bear the unpleasantries that come with this line of work.
