yamato was 260 meters and could 180 inside 600 meters. at best turn speed, iowa could 180 in about 500. drop that down to what some cruisers could do if they reversed a screw while hard over and yea, skyscraper kansai drifto. not to defend the amount of rage inducing bork in uad, but that funny enough, isnt one of the things that is ridiculous.
Perhaps the spirit of jackie fisher, the guy behind such silly nonsense as a battlecruisers with 20inc guns and no armor is haunting your game, and making it work wonkily. And, as someone else mentioned, at around 14:20, a heavy cruiser turned around as if it a car.
Yamato's tactical diameter was 640m. That's on a ship that was 263m long. The automatic multiple kilometer long, old style was actually much less realistic.
13:16 the battleship got the invincible treatment Also I made a 30knt battleship and a 35knt battleship in the campaign, so I am used to the battleship turning like a destroyer
Main tower is the one thing i would have armored up to its max. You said it yourself that that's where the damage control teams were HQ-d. It being the primary detection tower only makes it more critical. Still, good fight although i'd make the ship a wonly aft gun heavy kiting sniper...
i want to point out after your main tower was destroyed and you were bitching about your accuracy being shit, it was still 80% on screen. idk what hidden modifiers they might have been but 80 is 80 :)
