To be fair, I always see these types of vids where people call good players hackers, but clearly it's just them being bad at the game. If someone was really using aimbot, u would notice it, but ur not really using aimbot ur just good at the game
The fact that someone compares Mint's aim to aimbot, is a compliment in my eyes. Cause he's not using aimbot so that means he just has really good ass aim.
I remember being called a hacker a couple of times i always used to say "No im not hacking your just shit" xD Being called a hacker is like being called god haha (Im not good anymore haha i stopped playing halo online a loooong time ago)

Thing is, hacking and cheating is a very common thing now in games. It's not always cheating but due to how easy it's become to cheat mixed with the increased support for cross platform with pc, there's alot out there. Mw was full of them for the longest of time and good gameplay is very very similar to cheat gameplay with certain differences only noticeable to those who can see the player doing good.
I'm GT: NZ KADAFI in this video. (one of the victims) I remember this game because dam it was a bad beating. I honestly seriously questioned whether you were cheating, cause I haven't struggled against someone that badly before... Now seeing it from your perspective I see it was all just latency issues. For me, while playing against you, it looked like you were spinning to face me after getting shot and insta no scoping, or quick scoping me. In reality though, just turns out you're good at the game. I have terrible ping. I live far away from any of the servers. I can’t even ply CoD because every time I see the kill cam I realize that they killed me and I hadn’t even looked at them yet on their screen. Even tho I had been shooting them for half a second before I died on my screen. People with good connections do get advantages.
Yeah, like personally I never knew about pro aiming strats and from my perspective it seemed like people were using aimbot or see through walls so they could snipe me before I could even react (like when turning corners and stuff), when in fact they're pros like Mint. I kind of blame MCC matchmaking system for putting somewhat casual multiplayer people like me with spawn memorizing pro strat people, but at least I know that I'm playing against really smart and talented people and not bots
Ngl Mint Blitz, if you were in my lobby I'd probably think you were a hacker too (unjustifiably). It's just a thing where some people play the game and feel like gods but don't realize that some people can be better than them so they lose it and think that since they're the skill ceiling, anyone better is hacking. Especially in CE, where the skill ceiling is super high but seems way lower because the mechanics seem simple on the surface. People just need to chill and realize they're not the best out there (including me sometimes).
Because it's a very common problem on pc. Because kids who suck at the game always run to cheats. Because cheats and good gameplay are very similar looking to the observer. The only true way to tell if someone is just really good is to actually watch their gameplay from their perspective
Also latency issues can make it look like you're getting no-scoped before the shooter is even facing you. On Xbox I've probably saw one, maybe two cheaters since getting a 360 back in 2010, but on PC it's like every other week.
The funniest thing to see is when some smooth brain chad pulls out the virgin card and tells you to get laid. It’s always either some 30 year old dude with a family of 5 who works in some manual labor or just some kid who couldn’t finish high school and is going on a path of becoming that 30 year old.

I've matched up against Mint 4 times now. I was close once to beating him, but man does he get those kills quickly. One day the tables will turn in my favor ;)
"He's a hacker" or Halo is 20 years old and a lot of us never stopped playing. We had Halo 3 lan parties in college and that was back in 2014 a few months before MCC even came out. Classics can't be beat.
I’ve gotten so many hate messages cause I love sniping in halo reach and people accused me of hacking smh. I even lost my first account because of ragers on the 360 before
For the longest time, I thought it was hackers. Then (after a failed Reach LASO attempt), I started pinging guys left and right with the DMR, including a few cross-map kills. (Don't get me wrong, I am no where near pro, but I can still make the shots on a good day.) Finally, I got a perfect rocket across half the map (trying to hit ghosts really improved my accuracy against scorpions). People started calling "hacker." Two things happened in that match: 1. I realized all those accusations I had made were probably just whiny bs, and 2. I realized it was actually a compliment.
Yeah, I've seen actual aimbotters on OLD Halo CE before, and you ain't one; you just know the maps, and know the spawns. And if folks would calm down and think, they'd realize you aren't invincible and could learn a thing or two from watching you (most do'nt know about the "go up the ladder backwards" trick in CE for example). Out of curiosity, Mint, how do you handle the input lag offset with CE weapons? Do you just tug to the left or right a bit when shooting? I've been trying to figure it out and get my shots more accurate.
Yo the salt is way worse when you beat that ass with skill and no cheats.....you hear every racial slur...every insult....every bogus claim of why they losing and youre winning and its so satisfying. ...classic Halo!! This coming from a fighting game player!!
You know if i ever ended up in a game with mintblitz i would just run to him and allow him to kill me over and over again cuz i know that me and my team have lost regardless of what we do
The point where they're telling you to get other hobbies...I just...they're not wrong. I got accused of cheating once. Servers in my area only seem to run for an hour or two a day, and my internet was crap until recently, so I am used to playing with a bit of lag and against good players. So, I get my sweet hour, against a bunch of scrubs, with my friend on who is a damn good driver, so...gausshog time! They told me to get friends. I simply told them that my friend was the driver. I actually did play with/against a cheater only once. H3 4v4 SWAT. He would spin and fire 2 bursts of the BR and get three kills. Also, I saw several times where other players killed, but he got the credit. Lastly, he was sniping and I assassinated him...no kill. Tried again. No kill. Stuck him. No kill. Finally, he figured out and fired straight up and I died. 50 kills no deaths. His own team was accusing him!
People dont get that you have probably years more experience than them, you know spawn locations, you know where weapons spawn and that you're just a better shot than them, and they instantly say "hacker". Smh
The player saying how this game is fun when it comes to casuals, I do agree with sentiment somewhat. But it isn't Mint's fault really, I'm sure if more people played ranked for competitive, I'm sure he be there.
Afaik I've only encountered 1 cheater on Halo MCC PC, and it was in reach SWAT. Basically red flags are: Aim snapping, nonexistant or very very few misses or bodyshots, and awareness of where players are through the map using ESP (extrasensory perception, it's basically just wallhack). Don't forget half his team calling him out and giving the enemy team a running commentary on how he's preaiming and snapping to targets and then being booted for betraying the cheater lmao. I can see how you light a few of these flags with your bruhepic aim and knowledge of the game mechanics and spawning. I used to be bad when I was much younger and would call hacks on a lot of what I look back and see as just good players or wacky ping.
If I were to dream about something, is having two homeboys like UberNick and MintBlitz as my teammates to dominate Halo. Somebody please gather a team of big shots like UberNick, MintBlitz, 343Postums and me as the four lawmen of the game and we march all the way to an ally where 5 racist, sexist, and xenophobic, bigoted trolls are there harassing a minor, then when they look at us, UberNick and Blitz took down two of them, one about to try to punch Nick in the back from behind, but Postums shotgun that guy, then a guy was about to use a rocket launcher, then I give him a headshot, then the last guy was about to use a bubble, and would try to mock us. Then I use a gravity lift to disable the bubble shield and UberNick and Blitz would at the same time headshot the last bigot, then we 4 would t bag them in victory and the minor that was harassed by the bigots joins in to T bag them. The end. Pretty weird imagination I have, huh? Kinda childish, I know. For me a 23 year old guy who still dreams like a child, I have no regrets. The sad thing is, I know it will never happen. :(
