@@AnEnragedCat Only 2 or 3 US-West servers but they're almost always full, just have to be patient with the queue. Lots of US-East and others.

The sweet spot mechanics were EXACTLY how snipers should work, certainly how it works in real life: absolutely deadly. Always boiled my blood seeing all the hardcore BF veterans complain about the sweet spot, when this was one of DICE’s finest moments. Only now people are coming round to understand how near perfect everything in this package was back then.

Corrections: Absolutely keep SPREAD. It's not called random bullet deviation. The bullets do not deviate randomly, they deviate in a cone that increases in size with each shot. The size of this cone is completely predictable, repeatable and most of all, controllable. Learn to shoot proper burst patterns and you'll beam people with the SMGs from 30 meters away no problem. The general population's inability to learn how the spread actually works is one of the reasons why I win so many 1v1 SMG gunfights. I, shooting proper patterns, am hitting more shots and am killing faster on average compared to people relying on luck by either holding mouse one or bursting improperly leading to more spread than if they were to just hold mouse 1 (yes, you read that right. Bad bursting can actually make your spread worse than not bursting at all). Keep the cone of fire smaller than the target you're shooting at and your shot will not miss no matter what unless your shot noregs. Spread is balanced and skillful. Bad players cannot manage spread. Good players can and will kill faster because of it creating a skillgap. This is further compounded by better players also having better aim which means they'll need fewer bursts. Spread can absolutely be done poorly, but this is not the case in BF1. Rework the vehicles to be skillful for drivers/pilots so vehicle 1v1s are interesting again and add vehicle crits so you can actually take out tanks solo if you position right. Not being able to take out a tank solo as an assault player no matter how much you outplay the driver is a big stinker. Return movement to how it was in BF4. BF1's removal of any meaningful skillgap in movement is one of the game's biggest downfalls outside of the most casual of players. Completely rework all the indirect fire in the game that isn't a grenade in the grenade slot to be less prevalent. This means mortars, anti tank grenades, tripwire mines etc etc. There isn't nearly enough focus on gunplay and dying to explosives isn't very fun. More shooting less throwing stuff at people till they die. Remove the sweetspot mechanic. Never put it in another BF game again. Add a tutorial that actually explains the more complex mechanics of the game such as weapon spread. The game doesn't really explain it at all and players are incapable of finding out how it works themselves. DICE has never been great at communicating more complex mechanics to the players. Making the average player better and more lethal simply by helping them understand things such as weapon mechanics or certain aspects of team play better is never a bad thing. Maps made specifically for Rush need to return. One of BF's best modes and it's just a husk of what it was in its glory days.
