Thank you as always for the video. To be honest I don't care what you work on I just enjoy watching you stitch. You just drop in lovely nuggets of information now and again. I have started today a daily snippet piece using my jar of ORTS. My mother taught me to embroider when I was small and I never go past the elbow of thread, never realised I did that until you mentioned it. I am looking forward to starting the day with stitching time. I was a bit worried about retiring this month but I think this would be an excellent start to my day.
Learned some new things from your video today! Never thought about the elbow being damaged but of course it makes sense! Will no longer use that area for stitching….also learned that doing a daily practice keeps muscle memory and stream of consciousness when stitching is relaxing and fun with the focus on the process and not the end result! Thank you for your video today, I love learning new things!
Lovely.. I see you have two classes at the Brisbane Craft and Quilt Fair on the 12th October 2023. (Embroidered Journal Cover) Brisbane ladies here is a chance to do a class with Jennifer. Shameless plug for you Jennifer! !
Jenny! This was awesome, as always; don't apologize for doing what you feel like doing! I know we all just appreciate your time and inspiration....thank you! (And everytime you say whatever tickles your pickle, I crack up! Thank you for that, too!) Hugs
love watching you stitch and talk about stitching. you should only make the videos you want to. we'll be grateful for whatever you do. thank you for answering me that your snippet piece is 6 by 8. very helpful.i'm going to make a base that size and stitch along with you. linda from california
Thank you so much, Linda. I am a little all over the place and I do jump from project to project in real life - I have decided to just do whatever flips my pancake!
I just so enjoy watching you stitch and please never feel bad that you are not feeling up to doing something “spectacular“ as I found just watching I learned so much. I am from Canada and learned to stitch from my Grandmother many years ago. But I have never been very brave with my stitches - you have motivated me to try some new things. Thank you!
Hi Jennifer, completely understand, and the kookaburras sounded brilliant Love the idea of feeling free to just stitch. Thankyou for you tip about the elbow on the thread makes perfect sense it would be damaged Lazy daisy stitch is a lovely stitch I always have trouble with it so will do has you suggested and put a bit longer locking stitch on the end of it. Enjoy your evening ❤ delightful
Hope your day got better, you certainly perked up as you talked to us and sewed 😊 I had a Tibetan Spaniel for ten years, Buffy, she was gorgeous but certainly yappy!
Happy stream of consciousness day. Its ok that you are not doing the piece you prepared before. We will always have that to look forward to. What magazine article are you doing. ? I'd love to see it. Thanks for starting my day off beautifully😊
I love watching you do this stream of consciousness stitching! I need to learn to do this a little each day. Very freeing and relaxing! It makes for good anxiety therapy!😂
