Oh my goodness, I have discovered embroidery heaven. Thank you so much for this video Jennifer, I love watching others stitch and you are so inspirational. I have a moment ago ordered your Foolproof Flower Embroidery book and look forward so much to the treasure chest of pages enclosed between its covers. I am so fortunate to have found you! Best wishes and gratitude: Marion, North Somerset, UK.
I live on the east coast of America a world away from the climate on your east coast … i have had a miserable couple days only caused by dealing with people that feel entitled! Turned on RU-vid to distract my mind and there your video popped up ! Thank you RU-vid .., YOU have definitely distracted my mind and was a delightful way to end this day ! I did silk ribbon embroidery probably 15 plus years ago and I may have one your books . But if I don’t I will in the future, I have just recently gotten all my silk ribbon, hoops etc out because I have always loved handwork !! Plz make more videos! ❤
I am from California , l want you to know how much l enjoy each of your videos , there absolutely amazing . I have started stitching every morning for about 30 minutes sometimes more . I can’t believe how much stitching l am getting done . All of your ideas , suggestions , and different stitches l have used . I have all of your books that l enjoy so much . The book of flowers has helped so much with projects that l am working on . Please realize how special you are to all of us !
Hi Terri Apologies for the late reply. Thank you so much for your kind words. I am pleased that you are giving yourself the gift of time to create. Happy stitching! Jenny C
So lovely to have you on RU-vid Jennifer and I’m looking forward to binge watching your recent videos now 🤗 Love your fun commentary and am a fan of the Razzle Sue Spargo threads even if, as you say, they have a tendency to unravel a bit. cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
So delighted to have found your channel Jenny and thank you for your video. I love the fabric it is so happy and makes you feel interested to stitch on it. Looking forward to watching all your videos.
Thank you for taking the time to share. I have your last book and am just beginning to learn how to embroider. You are a wonderful teacher and an inspiration.
Thank you, Linda. If I have the time I will continue but I am kept very busy with my workshops etc - I think the more I do the quicker I will become. Thank you for your support 😊
Beautifully done. I have been a big fan for some years now and love your books. I must say I enjoyed the video very much and hope this is just the first of many. I am on the lower end of the Sunshine Coast and we do have the best Winters don't we. Hugs and hope next video is out soon.
Hi Rhonda, thank you taking the time to comment! I am hoping that I will improve - but will keep it very relaxed. The weather is so glorious at the moment ❤
Thank you for making a video. I'm from the UK so too far to take any classes with you. I a currently experimenting with stitching free flowing flowers using your Foolproof Flower Embroidery Book, it was so lovely to hear you giving tips on how you work.
How exciting that you have started on this platform. This was wonderful and I cannot wait to see the next exciting installment. I have been very envious of people who were able to participate in workshops and classes with you, so now I don't feel so left out. I'm now off to arm my hoop and thread my needle. Many many thanks.
So very glad I have found your channel! Been going over all of your videos and learning sooo much…I live in the USA. So need to find floss and silks to match yours!
Just found your channel and can't wait for your latest book to arrive in August. This is exactly what I have been looking for, you are absolutely amazing and so encouraging, thank you so very much.
the birds in the background are so beautiful! Love your free form style, and I bought your beautiful book! I was curious, why so many RU-vidrs stab stitch. I have never stab stitched. I’ve always just done my embroidery without a hoop. I would’ve thought at least some RU-vidrs would do it this way. But it seems like everyone’s stab stitches. Am I the only one out there that does it without a Hoop?
Great video!! I’m so happy and grateful to see your stitching! I have all your books and am so inspired by your work. I’d love to take a class from you, but I’m on the west coast of the USA. I’m so glad your doing RU-vid videos. Maybe someday you’ll do online classes?
I knew I heard bits of the same accent that Sue Spargo has. I’m a huge fan of Sue and your little shorts came up on Instagram and was thrilled that you are posting videos. This was a wonderful first video!
Oh don't stop making videos your a pleasure to watch , and use as many body parts and swear words as you like watching you work is just a pleasure thank you
Thank you so much Pauline for taking the time to comment. I do think that I must try and improve the quality of the video! Thank you, again for your encouragement ❤️
Hi Jennifer, I have come to you via Corrine from To be loved treasures. You are a natural for You Tube and I love your embroidery. Looking forward to more lusciousness
Hi Noela Thank you so much - RU-vid is new to me as I very seldom use it - let’s see how I go because I am kept very busy teaching. I will do what I can 🥰🥰🥰thanks again c
Hi Jennifer I love your stitching it is beautiful. I have just bought two of your books and waiting on your third book to arrive. I am so glad you are doing you tube videos. I wish I could take one of your classes but I live on the east coast in the USA. Thank you.
That was amazing and I love what you do. Well done on the first of what l hope is many videos, love the accents and l will be listening for the raunchy bits 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Hi Jennifer, greetings from Mollymook Beach 😎 Just watched your first video ... wonderful !!! Just subscribed & hoping for more vids xxx Your work is stunning !!! Happy stitching 🤗🤗
Stunning piece of work ❤️ Whilst I do have one of your books I have only just found you on Instagram and You tube. Thank you so much for the video which I really enjoyed and home that you will continue with the you tube videos ❤❤❤
Have really enjoyed your video. I haven’t done anything with silk ribbon and I had a go last night like what you demonstrated on your video. Thank you for showing us,
Hi Jennifer really enjoyed your video, thankyou for showing your relaxing way of embroidery. Also great advice on needles, we all have this abundance of them and then get ourselves confused on which one to use. Thanks again for your video thoroughly enjoyed it
Oh I’ve just come across you via Corrine …love your work, and will follow you and her keenly from my home in Sydney…great work with the youtube video !
How Beautiful. I’ve been watching Corrine from To Be Loved Treasures by Corrine and she’s been stitching (her homework Lolol) from your classes. I really love this style you’re doing and enjoy the free form. Thankyou for doing your first video! Really enjoyed it. ❤❤
Hello! I’m a new subscriber watching your earlier videos. Yes, I love the sound of the needle stabbing into the fabric. I also love that you’re using a hoop. And are you saying “ort” jar? Ort is a crossword puzzle word; I’ve never heard it spoken aloud. How cool is that? 💜💜💜
@@jenniferclouston7545 When I’m overexcited, I use my “big” words. Over many years, people have looked at me funny when I use my pretty words. I used the word “toady” once in conversation and silently gave a woman credit for asking me what it meant. Toady is a fun word. Let’s all be wordy this week. Just for the dang merriment of it. 💜💜💜
Hi again, I’ve just watched your newest video about the tools of your trade which was perfect! Though for some reason I can’t leave a comment. Instead of a comment section YT just keeps recommending YT kids. Thought I’d let you know.
Good morning Jennifer, I’m so happy to discover that you are starting to do videos. I’ve subscribed and would love to see you turn on your camera and record a few minutes of your morning stitching practice whenever possible. Watching you stitch brings such joy . Thank you💕🪡🧵🎉🇨🇦
So happy to see this video pop up in my feed. I subscribed straight away. I have been watching @tobelovedtreasuresbycorrine do her homework from her lesson with you and she shared your book which I will buy too. I love all the little delicate filler stitches you add to your work - creates such visual interest.😍
Hand stitching is one of my worldly delights! Thank you for this video! PS Please don’t take your jewellery off, it’s beautiful and I want to know where you got the trimming ring on your thumb, I’ve never seen such a thing.? Can you recommend where we might find quality thimbles? I’m afraid I’m not as seasoned as yourself when it comes to callouses 😉
