SNK VHD (VH140C clone) boosted with Boss GE7 - D tuned heaviness 

Agreed, I laugh at the money people are spending on the vh140c when the Crate crushes it.

@@totalbullion5882 Yeah, I prefer the Crate GX130C and VTX amps as well. The Ampeg (and it's clones) are still fun to mess around with but the prices people ask for the VH amps are crazy. I can't blame sellers if they're getting those prices for it but I wouldn't pay more than $4-500 absolute max.

@@Massobliteration It's supposed to be an exact copy of the distortion channel of the VH and the controls should have the same sweep. I had a 140 for a while and, as far as I can tell, this functions identically. The only difference that I am aware of is that the real preamp runs at 18V whereas this and most other clone pedals run at 9V. According to everything I have read, the voltage should make little noticeable difference. I'd like to try an 18V version someday just out of curiosity. As for the lows, the GE7 is cutting some to get a bit tighter chug sound.
