For sure - thank you so much. I still need to get out this year, been slowly getting this knee back. I did do some nordic skiing but unsure about the Sakana's still. Even if I do go skiing I will still bring the bike tho... Last winter was a game changer. I learned to do a completely new winter sport. I have been an avid MTB rider for a very long time just never make videos about it... maybe I should! :) Anyway - riding the bike like a bike and not trying to carve like I am on skis took me quite a while to adjust too. Places you may avoid on ski's could be just the ticket for a Sno-Go ha ha ha! So cool! Please let me know how you like it!!!
Just saw this Snogo and I love to try it, I have a bad right knee meniscus and ACL just about gone so Sking is out of the question, this TriKe-looking thing may be the answer, where are you it absolutely beautiful slopes? I dont have any experience skiing, I watch a lot of skiing on TV however
Oner of the coolest things about a SnoGo is how easy they are to learn on. MY knee is still not 100% so looks like I will be hitting the slopes on the SnoGo again this season.
Awesome! I want to demo the new model. Looks like the snow clears so much nicer on the footwell. These pack in and ice up pretty easy. I have learned to always sweep the snow out before stepping in. Especially in the pow. Also wanting the ski upgrade. Also it looks like a stem, bar and grip swaps are still a thing on the new version. They may have improved this set up but the new shop demo looks to be modded with a bar grip and stem swap also. Ours have Deity Highside 35/OS with an 80MM rise. Our shop owners bike had this set up, and that was what Kelly learned on. I made made sure to set hers up the same. I would change out the stem too if you do a set of bars (Deity Copperhead). Did you order direct from So-Go or a local shop?
I am usually the one skiing backwards filming my wife ride it. Check out our last couple videos at the end of last season. Park City was a good one. Would be rad to have some chase cam footy to edit in of myself on it no doubt. So far I’ve been solo on most of this seasons adventures. If I get out with a ski or snowboard buddy I’ll be sure to put a camera in their hand! Thanks for watching and commenting. Definitely want to work on some other camera angles I can do. The helmet cams don’t work with these as I have had them on my wife when she rides it and always disappointed in the results.
I LOVE it for skiing. The full face is so sic in the thick trees and breeze. It pops off and one easy and plenty of room for a neck gaiter underneath. I did a new bike build last winter I have not made any content about... (debated it) but anyway now I really want to get one of the new ultra light full face MTB helmets so many manufactures now offer. I would not consider my Ruroc over my current full face MTB specific helmet tho... however on a SnowGo it's the perfect lid! I may back on the snow bike again next year too... that knee injury last season was the worst!
