This performance here brings it in full circle for the Funk and hip hop connection……the funk of the 60’s and 70’s from Parliament, Ohio Players, Aretha, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Isley Brothers, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight etc that ppl like Snoop grew up on, which raised and gave birth to a generation of R&B stars and rappers who sampled soul & funk music of their childhood like the aforementioned Snoop, Bone Thugs, Mary J, Jodeci Pac, Biggie, Nas, E-40, Wu Tang and others which in turn was music that I as a 31 year old and others my age grew up on as a kid being born and raised in the 90’s as millennials

I respect Bow Wow and Snoop, but there is nothing on earth like the Parliament-Funkadelic experience. To see the mighty P-Funk mob on-stage is incomparable by itself, but there's always something magical when Bootsy steps on stage.
