Yeah it was so different, the beat and autotune singing! I asked myself huh, is this the same Snoop Doggy Dogg that made Murder Was The Case, the Crip Gangsta Snoop Dogg?! It sounds like he's turning pop/commercialized to me!
@@erikybarra3898 when people make this kind of comparison, I feel like they've completely forgotten about Doggy Fizzle Televizzle. Snoop has always had a sense of humor and more facets than just a gangster. He's grown and this kind of music is just a new avenue for him, not necessarily a departure.
I absolutely love that intro. Then Snoop's auto-tuned lyrics come in and my enthusiasm immediately drops. I'm not automatically against digitally tuning a voice recording, but in this case it doesn't sound great, doesn't sound necessary, and just reeks of the mid-to-late 00s. The part where he just straight raps is by far the best part of the song. Also the song's called Sexual Eruption.
If anything him playing the key-tar with the talk box attachment should tell you that he was paying homage to the peeps of the 70s who originated auto tune lol
