Snorkeling Bora Bora Lagoon Sanctuary at the Four Seasons

Wow, fishy was really enjoying that sea urchin. Is that a man made pool/sculpture garden thing? I'm surprised how friendly that yellow puffer fish was!

Yeah, Peter, the marine sanctuary was man-made on the grounds of the Four Seasons Bora Bora by a marine biologist. It's open to the ocean/bay on both sides of the resort, so the fish come and go as they please, but they do have gates to keep large predators out. I think the yellow puffer was attracted by the tiny mirror on our GoPro Pole. There's a full story on our site if you'd like to read more...

LOVE this! i think i've found my new relaxation video! at around the 3 min mark, what were the fish eating off that rock? besides the sea urchin insides?

They were eating algae growing on the underside of the rock. According to Oliver Martin, it's their favorite food!
