thanks for the prompt reply......yes it is an issue with the video card in the computer, because when i replay the video thru the go pro itself, ...no stutter. also when i hook gopro up to my hidef television it plays well also. meanwhile i guess i will try tweaking the sliders.....power vs performance and see what i get.....thanks again wayne.
I get the same problem in Final Cut Pro X unless I convert the footage to an optimized format (ProRes)....then everything is smooth....hope that helps.
Greetings! I also used a Class 10 card for capture on the GoPro, but I find that playback performance, once I've offloaded it to the computer, has to do with the video card in the computer. Are are experiencing stuttering once you've copied the files to your computer?

This is my kind of snorkeling! Reminiscent of Key Largo Grecian Rocks barrier reef and the out back barrier reef in Grand Cayman. .... i must come here!!
Greetings.......Spooky Channel is named after a cut in the reef that allows boat traffic to pass from the shallow side to the ocean. It's quite narrow (40' feet wide?) and over 100 feet deep.
