Snorkeling with my family in Kurumba, Maldives

Here's some underwater highlights from our holiday, squeezed into about 4 minutes.
I must apologise from some shaky camera work. As this was all done snorkeling, it meant I was buffeted about by the waves a bit - and it could be quite choppy. I also had my GoPro 4 on a 3-way extension which could amplify the shakes.
RU-vid has come up with some nasty compression artifacts I'm afraid - obviously it didn't look blocky to my eyes :)

Wow! Beautiful Wayne. Such an abundant of fish and sea life to see in this area. Did you end up using a filter?

Ken Trudeau No - in retrospect, I would have liked to have tried out a red filter in this water to make things easy. What you are seeing here is some colour correction in order to boost the red's and bring the blues down to the colour I saw with my eyes. You'll notice though that in some places close in and near the surface things can look a bit overly-red... although I think I'd get a similar situation with a filter, as the red light is still present close-in in this sort of depth, but lacking as you look further out. Diving, rather than snorkeling would have given a more consistent colour I think.
