The name you referred Kamakura is of the city with Big Buddha, 800 year-old Samurai government's capital.....For this video's, Kamakura means the igloo type snow shelter many northern Japan build in snowy winter, as you see.....It's confusing but the same pronunciation yet two different things. Either, you could visit and enjoy, one, the old city with many monuments near Tokyo, the other in winter, in the area like this video location, Yokote city in the north.
