I enjoy what you post online Dan always have that’s why I keep watching The trouble is most humans are packed in like sardines in the big cities all warm and cosy living in a push button world which is fair enough if that suits you because it leaves the wonder of nature for people like us to enjoy all by ourselves 👍🏼
Because of you posting videos like this, it really helps me feel closer to home! I miss the aqueduct, Trevor, Cefn Mawr, Plas Madoc (a little) and definitely Llangollen! My Japan life is a far cry from North Wales, even if the scenery is similar, but my heart is absolutely in that area of Wales!
Dan we spent a few days in Oswestry last week and saw the Aqueduct did question my judgement as I get vertigo lol and when someone was coming the opposite way with a pushchair as we walked across the narrow walkway yikes , but was amazing and Chirk was also way very nice. Thought we had left it abit too late but the weather was great for the time of year and saw some super Autumn trees along the canals. I can see why you are so taken with the canals so peaceful in a busy world. cheers James
Fantastic stuff! I am glad you got to see plenty of the places I love out here! Yes when the weather is on your side it is brilliant all year around, I definitely need a few more dry days… I wouldn’t fancy going over the aqueduct right now!
When you have spent 31/2 Hours driving in the freezing cold. To cover a 45 Minute Journey to work in the morning it is hard to see the beauty in snow. Its all right for people to sit in their boats admiring the view but it is workers ho have to supply their diesel and stock the shelves in the supermarkets. While you people sit and dream your lives away.
I don’t know what you think the average boater is like but I lived for 6 years on a boat without owning a car and had to cycle up to 40 mile round trips to go to work in all weather conditions. Plus some of the most knowledgable and interested people are locals. Being on a boat has nothing to do with it.
