This is the first review that I've seen on thids song that breaks down the instrumental composition and production in such a way that highlights the complexity of the different sounds adding dynamic feel to create a simple feel. This song just feels so jazzy and warm and cozy. Thank you.

V is a HUGE fan of jazz and a lot of older music. He is currently taking lessons on the trumpet and he played saxophone when he was younger.

This is just V all the way. He loves jazz and music from the 1930-40es and this definitely has that kind of vibe to it. It's the perfect song for hot cocoa and a fireplace.

and what’s even more impressive is him writing this song under 3 hours while being tipsy one night

This song is really very representative of V’s old soul taste in music. He loves jazzy and blues sounds and I suspect that him being raised by his grandparents has a lot to do to influence his preferences

This is the type of song that when it abruptly stops at the end, youll have this gooood feeling lingering around you. It makes you smile even when the song is already over. This is one of my Favorite solo Tae songs, and i really love peakboys input here, the mixed vocal/rap.

That's the thing I noticed with V (Taehyung), he makes everything looks easy, his singing and his dancing, but if you try it, it's not easy to replicate. He always put his little touches, that you'll only see when you direct your focus on him, you can see it in his fancams. And he can make you feel the message of the song, without even knowing the lyrics, he can just make you feel that. That the only one who can notice/appreciate it, are the one's who have REAL knowledge/background in music and dancing. Like how you explain the feel of the song, the instruments et.al. You're spot on, when you said, it looks simple but it's not. Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄

When tae wrote this song you can definitely sense he had a certain type of feeling in mind. This is the perfect type of song that you can easily slow dance to with your partner. It's so beautifully put together and makes me feel so happy and calm.

This song is a big warm hug where Tae whispers in your ear. His songs are so unique.

V loves jazz, blues & swing. Last year he shared tunes by Sinatra & listened to a lot of Sammy Davis Jr. This year he shared clips from the Christmas special with Bing Crosby and Louie Armstrong, plus a clip of June Christy 💜

Taehyung's gentle singing voice and the world view of his songs are very warm and beautiful, and he heals many people like his personality. i love this song he gave his fans for christmas. Thank you.🤍💜

Amazing song and amazing vocals from V

The Wooga Squad was formed in 2016. V was filming the Drama Hwarang and got pretty close with some of the actors and they became very good friends and are now known as the wooga squad.:)

Such a beautiful song. I like listening to oldies in general and this gives me old jazz vibes which is something that V loves (jazz). Actually a few days ago he was putting up some oldies song of his Instagram. I love V's taste in music, and like you said Tae's voice fits this music style so well. So 👍 💜💜

Yessss as I said before this is a beautiful, warm, gorgeous song written by V, released as a gift for Army last year perfect to be listen in front of the fire with a cup of hot chocolate or a cup of wine. This song having some sad vibes at beginning, yes you are right because V release this song last year when whole world fighting with covid and this song it's not just the simple Christmas song but also a talking about those hard times and thanking of front liners

The sadness in the lyrics is due to the fact it was written about last year's Christmas in the pandemic and everyone separated from their family, yet surviving till the end of the year is a reason for celebration itself.

I've loved this song so much since the first time I heard it. Even though they mention Christmas, it's on my everyday playlist. Thanks for reacting.

First time I heard this song right when it came out I was like omg yes. Exactly what you said it’s a close your eyes and just get into it vibe. Snuggle by the fire. Make a baby kinda music haha. Tae’s esthetic comes from hours upon hours of listening to old jazz also poplar songs from the 50’s like frank sinatra dean martin etc plus he loves classical music. He just sees and hears and thinks of music differently

Yayayay!!!! I was really hoping you’d do this one!!!! Wooga squad is just tae’s (Taehyung/V) friends group. It’s him, peakboy, and three actors (park seojoon, park hyungsik, and choi wooshik). They’re all pretty famous in Korea. Tae really loves music like frank Sinatra and jazz. He placed the saxophone as a kid and recently has tried his hand at the trumpet, though recently he has said it is being used more as decor. 🤣 Anyways, because of his different musical tastes compared to a lot of what you hear today we are all anticipating his mix tape coming out, which he has been teasing for about 2 years now.

This is not just typical Christmas song. Hope people notice the lyrics, "There’s a lot of WHITE ANGELS here and there this year." Refers to those MEDICAL staff who are fighting for Covid. They make a song that relatable to our current conditions. That's why this song becomes more meaningful. "The whole world is full of WHITE flowers. Make our time even more special. in the dead of time May the flowers fall on your SAD smile."

I love V's style in producing. he sets the mood for the song, it's not usual christmas carol, but it's still perfect song to listen on christmas. we can slow dance beside the christmas tree with our partner on christmas eve with this song. it feels so romantic. and actually it's not the first christmas song he produced, the first one was back in 2018. the song he wrote a called "happy christmas" he wrote it to sing together with Jimin, but the company in house producer said it will be weird for 2 men sing the lyrics he wrote and made him recorded it with a female producer in the company. V decided to not released it bc it's not what his first intention while make it, but he let us listen to the song. and it's so good to. I really wish he could keep producing christmas song for us 😄🥺 oh when he dropped snow flower, the fandom celebrated how he finally can drop a christmas song of 2 men singing, V said he wrote it and Peakboy help him at his studio
