i tried today, but i gave up. i did'nt manage to solve the letters from.

Same as Chris... I tried to make the Penguin one, but I couldn't get the letters to cut cleanly. :( I ended up using the main background of the Snowman because it actually cut reasonably.

Fabulous new design. Looks much easier to get perfect edges. How can we get the new updated files? I have all your adorable snowglobes that have been recently released in The Design Store.

@@loriwhitlock Lori, I purchased 2 of these cut files but they are different than what you show in this video. The cut file platform for Santa has completely different slits and does not have a globe in the file at all. How can I get the files that you are demonstrating here/?????

Allison if you purchased it in my SVG shop just go to your completed orders and Re-download the files. If you purchased it from silhouette you’ll go to your purchase history and do the same thing

@@loriwhitlock I bought the one with the Santa sleigh, it looks different from this video, there isn’t a separate band, it’s all connected, is that how it’s supposed to be? It looks like two hour glasses connected to the band.

@@kimharbaugh new files are available at Silhouette. They just updated them. I would wait an hour and then re-downlaod your purchased files before you cut. They will be the new files and match this video.

Silhouette should have them updated later today (I just confirmed that with them). Once they do that, you can re-download them from your account. Please let me know if you need any further help.

@@loriwhitlock The file has now been updated. However, I found for the the snowman version that I purchased that the new version is only in the studio3 format, even though I paid the extra to also include the SVG version. The SVG file that was included in the download was for the old version. So the download had the old version in SVG and the new version in studio format.

Mom Peas, The silhouette file is in the process of being replaced. You may need to wait an hour or 2 for the updated file show up in the system. It sounds like it's not quite there yet. It's substantially different than the old file.

That is correct. The signs are both print and cut pieces. With Cricut you need to FLATTEN those pieces and with Silhoeutte you'll need to turn on the registration marks and then print/cut.

Hi I work for Lori. Supply lists are not included with the patterns. Most of her files are made with 80lb cardstock and patterned papers.

No, this would work with all liquid glue, too. I just prepped it with the double sided tape for the video. Liquid on smaller pieces (with the fine tip glue bottle) works really well.

@@kayceen5073 Thank you for your reply. I think one of your videos, maybe for the pop-up cube card with the rubber band, said that some places that get more tension benefit from self-adhesive strips over glue, so I'm always curious when I see different methods used for no apparent reason.

You sure can. But, I love that the new base has a full support through the middle. It just folds neater and flatter in both directions.

You do want the numbers to cut out. Mine are just cut through the white paper. That is what you want.

Jackie, The card files were replaced yesterday. Can you tell me which one is still not showing up as updated for you? I can have Silhoeutte check that it did get replaced. Perhaps they missed one?

Hi Noni, this is a 3D cut file card or SVG file. You'll need a cutting machine such as a Silhouette, Cricut, Scan n Cut, etc to create this card. Thanks for stopping by!

I recommend using 80#-100# cardstock for the card base and inserts. The decorative paper can be anything.

Hi Meredith. This is most certainly an advanced project for a seasoned cutting machine user and paper crafter. I'm so sorry you've had such a rough time.
