Cinnamon goes well on sweet rolls and apple pie. Garlic makes meaty stuff better. Cut goose into strips, flour and cornmeal, salt pepper and garlic. Fry and dip in soysauce with ginger in it.

You’re only allowed to shoot 6 each a day lol how can it be duck capital of the world, even here in the UK we can have better duck shooting than anywhere in the US (it’s not as accessible to the general public hunter). But the true duck capital of the world is Argentina!

Hi Bobby, Good videos from Arkansas, a pity you were in the wet! It's very wet here in the UK at the moment. A lot of storms and flood water about and there's still more to come. No geese to shoot here season has ended and geese have disappeared -well almost.It was good to see Fred again in action . He looked particularly good on the trailer. Got my Dux mystery box in today and you uploaded the Arkansas part 2 video. I was born and raised in Arkansas and hate that the weather sucked while you were there. I live in Okeechobee Florida now and you should try out some south Florida ducks one day on ol Lake Okeechobee. And the large mouth bass fishing is insane too!
Good video. It looked like pretty tough conditions to be hunting in but man that looked like a lot of geese. The goose nuggets with the rice looked pretty good but I'd probably leave out the cinnamon.
Hey where abouts in Arkansas are y'all snow goose hunting at? I'm about to be going up to northeast Arkansas in about 3 weeks in a group to for another snow goose hunt.
So Bobby, you have inspired me to give the snows another try. I have only been successful at waterfowl hunting getting one Ross bird back in like 2008 here in Colorado. I have created a blind with a dog x-pen and some camouflage burlap. I plan to use some spray adhesive to stick some prairie red grass to the burlap and then stacking some against it. Since I have never been successful I only have 2 dozen decoys. I put a picture of my blind setup on my Instagram page if you are interested in seeing - any suggestions appreciated. Hoping that the cold front that is currently cutting across the middle of the Great Plains moves more snows down along the Arkansas River and we get a few flocks to commit. I hear that only a few small Vs of birds have been seen so hoping the timing is right. I have next Friday to scout and will hunt Saturday I hope a few can see my tiny spread and get curious!
BEWARE of these new youtube hunters that are popping up. I used a "guide" (Dirty Bird Outfitters) that this guy recommended for duck hunting in Arkansas and it was absolute trash. We basically paid the guy $900 to sit and look at the sky for 4 hours and didn't shoot one bird or pull the trigger once. The guide (Nick) said we could come back out and try again but ignored our calls and texts and took our money and ran. The guns we borrowed were all broken and jammed and the guide doesn't even own the property and it's not even that big of a field to hunt. Again, BEWARE of all these "professional" youtube hunters that try to act like pros. Stick to a real guide or find a friend that can actually give you the truth about who you'll be hunting with. And for the love of God, DO NOT HUNT WITH DIRTY BIRD OUTFITTERS! I will answer any questions on here to try and explain anything further but I'm just trying to help people and prevent them from getting ripped off.
El Campo is a great area for the Snows! Used to go every year back in the NINETEEN 80's ; right after New Years. Used to be a helluva strip club across the highway from Houston Hobby airport. BUT this was before Binelli's and wind socks; we used white plastic table cloth squares, and hung them on rice stubble; about 3 to 4 THOUSAND for a party of 6 hunters and 2 guides. No Argo and only Over/Under 12 ga with lead #2 shot. If you could still shoulder and shoot your gun on the 3rd day, you had a tough shoulder. I came home many a year with a black bruise from my armpit half way to my elbow! I think our guide was named Bobby Clampett; great guy and a hard hunter. Love this video; great memories !
I really like your videos!!! I spent hours today watching them one after the other. I highly recommend for your own good that you put the name DUX in the title of every single one of your videos and you should start every video by showing that name, DUX, in big. It would be a great publicity for you and we could also easily find your videos. Also, I really prefer when you hunt the most natural way possible, without electronics to call, and since you were many hunters it would probably have been even better than using electronic calls and you could have had a lot more fun calling/coaxing/talking to/with the birds and then when they fold you are way more happy than when using electronics, you feel way more competent and a way better hunter since somebody who never hunted can have some success with electronics. But to be a good caller requires some practice and it is way more rewarding to hunt in a more natural way. It is like getting a mature buck with a bow at 10 yards instead of with a rifle at 300 yards. Also there is no need for those mojos, this is just not fair for waterfowl. This is why we banned over 100 years ago the use of live decoys to hunt. Real passionnate hunters enjoy the real thing and will go the extra lenght to make a hunt even more difficult, because it is way more satisfying to hunt this way. Isn't hunting a fair challenge between man and the beast? By using all that artificial stuff we decrease the pleasure and satisfaction of being able to lure a bird at gun range by our own startegies, calls and tactics. It is so much more rewarding to call ducks/geese/cranes with a hand held call or even with your own mouth. Also I love that you eat what you kill! I asimply adored your sparrow/starling/pigeon hunts and cooking! When cleaning ducks and geese you should always show us that you keep the liver, the gizzards, the hearth and of course the legs, the best part of the birds! The hearts and gizzards are delicious and the liver make the best pâtés ever! The gizzards are wonderful when cooked slowly in wine and/or beer with spices. Too many hunters are too lazy to take the time to take everything, what a waste to remove the breasts only! The best is to pluck them and then you do not waste any meat at all and it really tastes better with the skin on, there is no comparaison at all. Anyway do whatever you want and continue to produce vidéos, we love all of them! And hunt more often with your friend the butcher, he is a very nice guy and I love his little Ford Festiva! I killed a monster B&C mule deer that I had to pull by the front passenger side door to be able to get it in my wife Ford Festiva over 3 years ago! What an adventure! A once in a lifetime trip and kill! We don't need giant trucks, and super gear/gadgets to enjoy hunting and if the young hunters knew that, there would be no problems with recruting more hunters. Enough writing, I need to watch another one of your videos.... especially the ones about the solo hunts, so rewarding hey?
Nice job getting what you could out of that deal!!!! Down here in Arkansas best conditions are bluebird skies and a hard south wind so well done on the guides finding the exact X. If they hadn't found it y'all would have been bird watching. Props to all👍😊
Bob, I didn’t get into the snows at all this season and I got a recipe I would like you to try out. Take a snow, pluck the feathers off the breast so you got skin and fat on the breast meat and cut out the breast. Let the meat soak in water for 2 days, draining and refilling morning/evening. Then marinade it in olive oil and mccormicks Monterey steak seasoning for a day. Then throw it on the grill til it’s medium rare. I like to start it on the fat side first. Fair warning it’ll flair up at first from the olive oil and the fat but it’ll calm down after a few seconds. Just make sure it doesn’t go completely up in flames
Only people that have water fowl hunter in Arkansas kniw how bad the walking sucks in the fileds in Arkansas. I’m from jonesboro Arkansas and duck and goose hunt ever chance I get and trust me the mud is a diffrent challenge in itself when retrieving birds and setting decoys
Bobby do you think the sound made by the flags is as important as the look of them flapping? I have noticed the flapping sound makes a difference. I might be crazy?

maybe try not to flag. the line of guys is the most unnatural thing in the field so why would you do the attention grabbing from there. get down get quiet and quit moving. that was hard to watch. lots of shooting and not a lot of killing
Hey Bobby!!! Just want to say that I love everything you are doing, from the videos, to DUX, you are a genuine dude, just doing what he loves. And I thank you for sharing your journey along the way. Got a video idea for you, if you haven't done it already. Scouting, when, how, knocking on doors for permission, what to say, all that good stuff.
