Snow Monkeys in Yudanaka Japan 

This is the first leg of our Japan adventure.
In this part we visit Yudanaka the home of the Snow Monkeys. The park is a small distance out from the city but easily accessed by bus or car. If travelling from Nagano there is a special Snow Monkey Train otherwise please stay in Yudanaka and make your stay at the Yudanaka Yasuragi. Mr & Mrs Kobayashi are delightful owners and go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. Our visit just happened to be during Japan's biggest snow fall and we never expected to be swamped by snow blizzards.
The Snow Monkey Park walkway is lined with tall timber and during your walk to the pool of monkeys it is almost a heaven like feeling. You will be overwhelmed with the beauty of the area.
