I'm not sure where you are located, but the 550 pulling the dump trailer is probably into the CDL category if you are in the US or Canada. If the truck's GVW plus the trailers GVW is over 26,001 pounds combined unfortunately they want a class A CDL. Gets tricky

I used to have a peterbilt! Got rid of it. I’d say my next investment will be a tri axle for sure

I have never looked into it cause I don’t think i could justify the price but I will look into it!

We used them on some of our large commercial properties mainly the shopping centers and auto manufacturers parking lots where we have large areas to cover and little areas to stack large snow piles, of course we had to get permits to funnel the melted snow into the sewer system on sites where there were no drainage ponds, just a fyi. We decided to use these after we ran the numbers of the expense of transporting snow off site and disposal, it actually became quicker to melt than trucking due to less labor, idol time and equipment cost both fuel and maintenance for the loaders.

@@tristenklein5940 I just do only one big place and there is plenty of room to relocate snow and push back. I only have small lots that we actually truck out of so probably wouldn’t be worth it for me but I will definitely do some research

We use fluid film. But I do have a 55 gallon drum of motor oil I will use next time it needs it

​@tandtlandscapeandmasonry put a honda gx gas motor on the trailer to run the hydraulics. It is a huge upgrade. The bed flies up and down, and you don't have to worry about the battery being charged.
