With Ski Apaches newly upgraded ski lifts and Apache Arrow (Gondola), Ski Apache now has the top lift capacity in New Mexico, at 3,600 uphill people per hour. The Apache Arrow will be able to take 8 passengers at a time up over 1,500 feet to the top of Ski Apache in only 8 minutes! That's twice as fast as the previous Gondola. Ski Apache installed the original Gondola back in 1962. At the time it was the first ski-slope gondola in North America. The Apache Arrow, which can carry 2,000 skiers each hour and is the only passenger gondola in New Mexico.
