OMG! So long! Here in England, in the early 1980s, my mother, an avid conservationist, faught alongside her colleagues to get Freight on Rail. Alas, despite good intentions and the massive safety and environment benefits, big oil indirectly won. So from then to now, our roads and motorways are choca with loud, polluting, and, in an accident, lethal trucks and 18 wheelers. Glad Canada saw sense.
