Just a suggestion from a fellow ryan, the go pro lens is so wide that you dont have to point it at Mike, just keep it where you have it and you are both in frame! Love the videos! Im a Relatively new subscriber, keep the quality content coming

Hey Ryan big fan of your videos I just ordered a donek board for snowboard cross and spoke with Sean about your board and next year I’m planning on getting the knapton twin because I absolutely love carving. What width would you recommend for a size 11 boot to not “boot out”? Also you make 180s and 360s out of carves look so clean and easy it’s crazy!! Keep up the great videos!
@RyanKnapton
@RyanKnapton 5 лет назад
Hi Max. Just depends in your boot size, stance angles, conditions your ride in, how well you carve, and how aggressive you want to get with it. Send me an email to cofooser@gmail.com with your specs once your looking into it. The later the better as of now as I'm way behind on responding to some.... Yikes.
@easystyle4747
@easystyle4747 5 лет назад
Ryan, i remember you sayin you left your edges at 90. Do you ever resharpen those edges? Do your edges catch on boxes with a new board with fresh edges?

Ryan, I'm 6'6" and 230lb, size 15 ft...what kind of side cut radius should I be looking at for carving plus all mountain stuff?
@RyanKnapton
@RyanKnapton 5 лет назад
15 boots... Damn, first I'd say extra wide to prevent to and heeldrag. And then if your carving deep, then maybe larger radii than normal, but it depends on how well you're carving and what kinda riding you typically do. Email me at cofooser@gmail.com and I'll help further if your looking for a custom board. Otherwise most sidecut radii on normal freestyle boards are pretty similar... So that shouldn't be the spec to worry about. Just get as wide as you can find. ✌️

Why are u jealous of those bigger jumps Ryan? Why don't u hit them yourself anymore? Is the risk / reward ratio bad already?
@user-vn9js9yn1j
@user-vn9js9yn1j 4 года назад
Hes almost 40 and hes broken his shoulders many times and has a lot of other injuries, as I believe. He used to be the halfpipe olympic athlete back in 90s and now hitting big jumps are probably too dangerous for his age.
@KonstantinTarasevic
@KonstantinTarasevic 4 года назад
@@user-vn9js9yn1j I understand that all, but like, u don't really have to spin tripple 10 to hit it. And now 40 is a new 25 ^^. But I understand what u and he mean. Wasn't trying to provoke or be an asshole with the question. Though maybe it's not physical but just fear and mental. Which probably is amalgamation of both :)
@user-vn9js9yn1j
@user-vn9js9yn1j 4 года назад
@@KonstantinTarasevic dude that was just my thoughts and I dont know how ryan is feeling about it. Though I'm pretty sure he still has strong enough mentality to hit that kicker, since he still makes those front 5s in flat ground with crazy amount of speed. I doubt if it's because of the fear or mental.
