Snowboarding on Shawnee Mountain, PA 2/6/2021

It's not a requirement! But it's helpful to search RU-vid videos on beginner snowboarding tips and/or to bring a friend who actually knows what they're doing. Luckily, my boyfriend's pretty experienced (he's the one who was doing the tricks in the video) so he helped me a lot lol it was my first time snowboarding in years! Thanks for watching! We plan on going 2 more times this season so I hope to get better footage next time :)

Yes, I recommend going on a weekday if you have time! The lift lines do go pretty quickly on weekends though, but it's nice to have the mountain to yourself on weekdays.

Ayyy that's so awesome, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself :) I'm a noob too, lol but my boyfriend helped me a lot on the mountain and I think Tommie Bennett's channel has really great videos on beginner tips! Personally, I'm really glad I bought a helmet and goggles and would encourage any other beginners on the mountain to invest in them too!
