Join me as I take you on a trip up the historic Snowdon Mountain Railway located in Llanberis, North Wales
This amazing rack and pinion narrow gauge railway goes up Mount Snowdon (the 2nd highest mountain in the United Kingdom) and first opened in 1896 but closed after an accident but then reopened in 1897 and has continued to take tourists up the mountain ever since
The railway starts at Llanberis and goes up to the summit which is 4.7miles long however at the moment it only goes 3/4 of the way up and stops at Clogwyn so hopefully we will make a return visit in the future

All footage was filmed in HD 1080p 50fps using a GoPro Hero 9 Black with official accessories

The views were brilliant but I’ve yet to see anything I like more than the view at Griffin Point in L.A. I wouldn’t fancy walking up Snowdon, maybe downwards on a sunny day ha ha ☀️ great vlog again!.

Amazing attraction vlog Andy and Lisa. You will have to ask your dad if you been on the train as you had been to Wales when you was 10 don't know if you told ppl a lot lol . Wonder if I can count the train as a coaster on a track and cog lol

I have been up Snowdon 4 times now, once it was crystal clear and I could see for miles. It was the worst trip ever, I was a red lobster by the end!

Nice views going up and of course at the top ( well .....3/4 of the way ) so a change from the usual videos, not a ride in sight, unless you count the train as a 'coaster' 😁. I think the price, like the journey is a little steep ( so fuel price going up 😂 ) and should be less for 3/4 the way. Thanks for showing us this. 👍

This looks beautiful, but they said the steam locomotives have been withdrawn this year, are they being scrapped or is it just for this one season? Because I am scared.

I didn’t think they still used the Steam Engines

@@Coaster_Crazy they have been using them since the railway first opened. But not this year. And I’m kinda nervous. edit: the engines haven’t been scrapped! They’ll be back in steam next year!

Another great video Andy. I really enjoy your honesty. Just one question, I presume you are using the media mod on the GP9. How did you get the sound from the rear mic on the mod? The option on mine has disappeared, only front audio.

I have the Media Mod but I haven’t actually used it yet because the audio from it isn’t great so I bought a pack of stick on micro wind muffs and have the GoPro audio set to wind auto and as you can hear from the vlog it sounds great
