Absolutely Beautiful tumbler Ms Courtney thank you for the tutorial ❄️😍Love Love the “whitewash”look you did🤍💙😍and that glitter ✨ going to have to add that one to my Glitter Grind collection 🤫🤣hope your feeling better and healing well Hon take care and STAY WARM 🍁❄️😍❣️
When hubby built mine he insulated it, So keeping it warm in the winter and cool in the summer is easier and cost effective. In the winter I use a cute little infrared "wood stove" with a thermostat. My grandson and Malinois love laying on the little rug in front of the fake flames ☺️. In the summer I have a portable AC unit that is programmable. Hubby cut a circular hole in the wall for the vent line. I just swap them out each season, the lid off a coffee can fits perfect over the vent hole. I live in Idaho so it gets cold and snowy in the winter and hot as Hades in the summer, regardless of the weather I'm cozy and comfy in my little hut ❤️
We made my moms garage into our bedroom while I was in nursing school and we used a small electric fireplace heater and that thing worked AMAZINGLY! We would actually have to turn it off during the night because it got too hot in there and it didn’t run up the electric bill. Also the garage was not insulated 😳 LOVE YOUR WORK AND YOU’VE TAUGHT ME SO MUCH!! Thank you for sharing and being so awesome!!
Hey, I totally understand the crunch of a vendor event. I did mine last weekend and made over $500! I was shocked! It was my very first one and now I know what to expect. I'm sure I under priced them, but I was glad that I did so well!
I just did a peekaboo snowflake last night using Glimmer from The Glitter Grind for the base and an assortment of blue Ranger alcohol inks on the top. Turned out gorgeous as did yours. Hope you're feeling better. You are so thoughtful to have recorded in advance for your downtime. We love you. Take care of yourself and hug your family alot~
@@CourtneysCustoms I didn't do a tutorial, but I did an episode of "As The Tumbler Turns" on my Arlineology RU-vid channel if you want to see it. I'm pretty proud of this one.
Tips for keeping the shed warm (ideas from friends with work sheds and because I’m never not cold) 1. Tons of insulation, and work during the warmer times of the day. 2. Wall off a work area. So all the heat won’t rise to the ceiling. You can keep your resin in this area so it doesn’t get too cold. 3. A heated chair massager. 3a-wear thermal socks and a thermal jacket/shirt when you are moving around. 4. Electric socks are a thing. 5. Wear a hat. A lot of heat escapes through the head. Your body will protect the vital organs so a hat and a warm vest would help keep you warm and keep your arms free for shorter sleeves. I wold suggest 3/4 sleeves. 6. Invest in hand and foot warmers. You can slip your hands into some gloves with the warmers if your hands get cold. 7. Finally talk to your accountant about that electric bill being a business expense.
Love!! I’m in SC and it was in the 40s last wk, this wk btwn 70-80s. We have kerosene & propane heaters for our shops. My husband uses a kerosene jet heater in his 25’x25’ shop. Right now I use my gas logs to heat my craft room, I turn it on and w/ in 30mins it’s nice and warm and I can turn them off
to heat n cool my 16x22 shed, i installed a lg split unit w heat pump . $798.00 for a/c n heat was cheaper than a window until with heat than $1,100 unit from H.D. .. The best part is it's whisper silent . I'm in Houston Tx.
I love your videos. The tumbler is really cute. Where are your vendor events? I live in California so I just use my space heater. We don’t get any snow here at all.
Question: after you applied 'wood grain look', did you seal with anything before epoxying? Absolutely love your tutorials! Very informative and helpful and LOVE the cup of positivity❤️. I'm in Indiana and it cold here too. All my pretty leaves are hitting the ground😏🧡🧡
Hi. That’s a gorgeously tumbler. Quick question, did you spray it with 2x clear or 2x white after adding the stencil? I think I heard clear but then I see that the cup is white before adding inks. Thanks.
I have a space heater like you and it sucks lmao. I need to turn it on way before I go out to my shed and im still always cold. I also live in Maine so we get cold cold. Today its only 44 out and I'm still out here plugging away with my space heater following me around lol
I don’t have a she shed but the room I do resins in get pretty cold at night. I put an old smaller refrigerator in there that’s bar size, like 3 1/2 feet tall. I put all my resins in it and run a electrical cord with a single 100 watt light bulb, thru the corner of the door. Light bulb is at the bottom pointing up bc heat rises.. and everything is on the upper shelves or in the door. The fridge isn’t plugged in. That light bulb keeps all the resins at 72* to 75* all the time. Anything I want to stay warm I stick in there.. tack it glues, Polycrylic & paints etc.. total lifesaver. Even during a power outage it stayed just warm enough nothing froze in it for 2 days.
@@CourtneysCustoms ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pyA2UG_0JmI.html I got the idea from him. His refrigerator is bigger than mine is so I just use a normal 100 watt light bulb. I did use a reflector backing like that one in the video 👌 Works perfect all winter.. I’m already using it bc it’s down to 42* at night.. 30* next week. I set the thermostat inside to 65* at night which is to cold for resins 👏👏👏
I am in the garage I have a heater that's not really keeping up right now. We also have a small room connected to our garage which I'm going to move into and clean it up. Out of the 6 years we have lived there we had no idea that room has its own baseboard heater.
2 questions, do you have a discount code for tumblers at makerflo and when you order your glitter do the come in little bags of it’s own personal container with lids? I’d rather have the container with lids. Do I need to order a certain amount to get them like that?
Hi!! I will make sure to add that into future videos. I have videos pre-filmed up until the first week of December, after that I promise to add that in💜
