It's 2 years since I last made this soap, join me today as I make it again with some slight changes. Christmas Holiday Slab Mould Soap of 2020.

Blue Violet Colour
From TKB Trading but it is no longer available.
You could always mix some blue and purple together to get Hyacinth Blue
Here is one that looks similar from Nuture Soap

Recipe
This is the full batch size I used for the cake slices (for the topping see below)
RECIPE - Cold process Soap
OIL FAZE
1700g (56oz) Sunflower (47.22%)
800g (28.2oz) Coconut Oil (22.22%)
800g (28.2oz) Palm Oil. (22.22%)
150g (5.2oz) Cocoa Butter. (4.17%)
150g (5.2oz) Shea Butter (4.17%)
WATER FAZE
524g (18.4oz) Sodium Hydroxide
700g (24.6oz) Distilled Water (if making simply for home use and not to sell, tap water will do finely)
You can increase your water content up to 1171g (41oz) if you prefer.

8:55 i just thought of a tip for when you make your lines on the parchment paper, you should flip the paper over once you make the lines with sharpie, the lines should still be visible enough and won't have the chance to seep into the soap. i hope this helps! ALSO! thank you for always being so kind and open with your recipes, tips and tricks, it's so very helpful. you are a saint!

Karen! How in the world did I miss this video from last year? This is absolutely positively gorgeous. I never thought anyone could out do you, but I think you have finally gone over the edge and outdone yourself. I just love the blue and white it is so crisp with the zigzag in the middle. 😍😍😍😍😍😍. This was my favorite xmas soap last year. I tried to copy it and it was a disaster. Ha! I make soap myself but I am going to order one of your xmas boxes for my husband. He loves listening to you (and no one else. Lol). He thinks you have a fab you tube presence!!! 🥰I do too!

The color is my very favorite too! Laura Ashley in the 1990’s had a pattern called “ Bramble”which was blackberries in this deep blue on dark like forest green fabric. The wallpaper was white background with blackberries this color blue and forest green leaves all over it. Several borders were made as companion paper borders either very wide, medium or narrow width. The widest border was forest green with this color really this deep blue blackberries on it. I bought it all for my bedroom. I love it. The comforter was forest green background with blackberries. You would have really enjoyed it Karen. This soap I’d say is a Laura Ashley lovers soap! I need some for me.

Hello Karen, These embeds and soap are so beautiful, the pattern on the snowflakes is so pretty, the Royal blue with the crisp white is gorgeous. All the work that you put into this soap shows in the final cuts it is absolutely gorgeous. Do you use Peppermint Essential Oil for the Fragrance?

Love this. I make soap and wanted to see your soap dough recipe and compare. I love mine but always see what other varieties people use. But it is not listed in the description as stated. Maybe you forgot to put it in. I will check back. Btw your soaps are beautiful!

what is the exact amount of water? why do you say to increase water up to 41 oz? please explain. thank you for sharing kind regards. or better what is the % of water and % of sodium hidroxide so I can adjust recipe to my need...cause this is a lot..jajaja thank you so much Karen kind regards
