sean bean is killing it as mr joseph wilford and tbh, the show is getting more & more intense and interesting, thanks to him. i really don’t wanna see his character die (as it happens all the time) so, DON’T KILL HIM! let the guy survive this season, at least. Edited: and… mr wilford got stabbed omg but he’s alive… for now. i just hope he makes it to the end of season 3 🙏

@@morganirvine2327 They won't, at least not for quite awhile. Once Wilford is gone, any real obstacle keeping them from making the train what they want it to be is gone.

@@hypnotoad28 oh there’s plenty of directions they can take it. New cults, new rebellions, characters turning on Layton, the experiments on people to survive the cold, attacks from survivors outside the train( the world us warming up after all, and there’s bound to be survivors in bunkers who might notice a train going past each year). It’s already departed completely from the movie and doing its own thing. I too hope they keep Wilford for another season too though. I feel like only in episode 8 did we see his true cunning, so I’d like to see more of that.

Sean Bean is an excellent choice for a role of a Wilford,voice fits,it's charismatic act also fits,it would be a shame to kill this character before final season since he sound at some point like you can't see him as a cruel and selfish person while in some time he shows tht side,lets hope we see his brilliant mind in season 4 figuring out how is he going to survive conditions he is in

I would like to learn Wilfords backstory. Was he always a vicious man? We seen his humor and love of life, intelligence and knowledge. He appreciates good music and art. Even books it seems. But what made him so insecure he needs such extreme shows of loyalty? What made him so distrustful? Did he have dysfunctional upbringing? Did he ever have a family/wife of his own or always a Playboy?

Too many spoilers, we see Javi being attacked by guards now working for wilford and the dog. We also see death by ice lung to Tallies. Oh and let's not forget melanie toasting in the engine AFTER her journey to the weather station.

That toasting is a flashback for sure since if you look out of the window of snowpiercer you can see Big Alice infront of the snowpiercer, and since they have no way to disconnect due to melanie making sure of it.

(spoilers) Personally, I like Mr. Wilford in charge. I really would've liked to have seen Ruth take on as his head of hospitality and seen her struggles more for her character between caring for all the passengers of Snowpiercer and then her adoration for Wilford. When she surrendered her teal, I thought that was a powerful scene. I just wish it was over maybe when Wilford would be killing off a section of passengers or inputting some oppressive things that she would have stood her ground over instead of Melanie. I think they should show more of Wilson reminding the characters why he hired each of them. I thought that was the greatest part of his charm is that he picks you, hand selects you to be on his ark, his train.

Theres gotta be a timeskip, so next season will probably introduce a timeskip with Mr Wilfords full control, then we will see the 2013 movies revolution, with Melanie Layton and the Mandarian locked in the droors, so somebody will have to get them out.

nah its the reasons behind it that counts, she does a lot of bad things but ultimately she is trying to maintain the survival of the human race, while Wilford does these things for sake of himself and wanting to be the top of the hill even if it means that humanity ultimately dies. people still hate her, but when you have someone who is a greater threat or people hate more people concentrate on that person more so

@@dinoatcharterdotnet you should rewatch the episode that deals about her reasoning again, because you assertion is only skin deep with a black and white outlook, that does not take every issue into account. she was doing it because she realize that a majority of the train occupants and staff worship Wilford and if she comes out immediately to remove Wilford's influence the very social order in the train would collapse into infighting, which would jeopardize the survival of the human race.
