Apparently I can't count wheels anymore, that's a good sign. Anyway here are some trucks I like using in Wisconsin. I already did one specifically about logging, feel free to check that out in my SnowRunner playlist (see description). Hope we're all doing okay.
Another good sign is you using a modded truck despite it being wrecked. More often than not, some modded trucks have repair and fuel kits installed in some of the addons. Somehow. But that's modding. Stay safe, chum!
A fleet of nothing but Tayga’s and Azov-7’s for me, Loady for scouting and a CAT for rescue. Time is money. Mans got work to do. I do have a DAN on standby for Heavy Support, but it usually stays nice and shiny for most of the day. Thanks for the vid, Tribe dude fella bloke. 👍🏼✊🏼
To be honest, Wisconsin is a really chill map, especially the second one, so you can use whichever truck you like. It's the map in which i decided to use trucks I've never driven before like the GMC Brigadier, Kodiak, and scouts like Jeep and the good ol CK1500
The fact that Paystar 5600 can carry a lot more cargo when you have a crane on it is really useful! I used to load 8 bricks on it, barely drove to the paper factory but International was still going strong.
Pacifics P512 PF and P16 should be on this list but you have some respectable selections Also can we talk about how the mud patches when you pull out to the left of Black Badger Lake's garage are some of the worst mud patches ever
It's definitely better to take the river section to the right of that mud near the garage. I did want to include the P16 and the 512 is better than the P12 in my opinion.
Agree 100% on the Bandit. Cant do a contract with it without flipping at least once and she has a drinking problem. I also carry repair supplies up top and carry fuel trailer just ike u were.
I almost just used 3, DAN and both Azov... No need for more, the new paystar drinks fuel like a russian on a wedding, and the boar got almost no traction if the terrain gets tough, dan is the best for express deliveries
Considering the fuel scarcity, I found out that even Transtar with all-terrain tires worked surprisingy good when pulling a semitrailer full of metal rolls from train station to paper mill, being able to go multiple rounds without refuelling and going through broken parts of the road with ease even without any kind of AWD or diff lock, only needing winching itself through one swampy part of the main road... The new Pacific is also great for the map...
Asov, yes, love those. Never been a fan of the Arctic though. The big Cat can finally get some more use, YAY! I also agree with the Dan. Slight change, this map is soooo good to look at and drive, just exploring is good. Really like this new DLC. Respect also to ATCC, cheers!
It's also one of the best looking maps from cab view with all the wild flowers. I rarely use cab view but found myself switching to it often on these maps.
Wisconsin is where I learned to appreciate the International Loadstar 1700. Something light, nimble, and access to a (difficult and unwieldy) crane made some more annoying segments of the map very pleasurable.
Never a video without the good ol 73210. Although, I feel like a certain White Western Star needs a little more attention. It might look like a crime around here, but I sold my AZOV in favour of the White. Good video, keep it up!
I just use a modded DON 71 that I made. It can have every base game engine and trailer, so I put the saddle high and low on the roof. (will never be released because it’s for my own use. Also I might have put mature words on the side)
Yeah two of the overall best trucks for Wisconsin are simply the Paystar 5600 TS and the CAT 745C. The Tayga is still good but sometimes the torque is lacking. Aside from high fuel consumption, the 5600 TS is simply better. I also found myself using the Antarctic more often. With some long logs it's less likely to tip over. Despite this, the TS is still slightly better for logging. For logging the 745C and TS have little competition.
I didn't use the P12 at all prior to Wisconsin. I used it quite a bit on the first map to haul long logs through the mud and it did respectable. I think the 10 wheel Paystar is quicker though.
I played snowrunner 'till pts phase 1 than came back recently and I definitely should not do like 3 contracts them move back to late alaska (plus I moved to pc after like 3 months of the game being out)
With limited power output and high CG, the KRS is A Truck Called Cursed for me... I'll give it a try when I finally get to Wisconsin, but I'm not hopeful.
I find the KRS is worse in earlier maps with lots of slopes and tippy angles. Wisconsin isn't so bad (and when logging it's less of a problem anyway). But perhaps the curse will prevail regardless!
For logging this map is very easy, all you need is a trailer pack that has medium log trailer available to purchase in trailer store and trucks barts mod paystar, ziks or tatra phoenix....you just need two trucks with trailers attach on each truck, for metal beams its good to use barts paystar you can load 6 metal beams in just 1trip 😂😂😂😂
Just wondering if there will be a beginners video for new players with SnowRunner releasing on Steam and the Switch on May 18th. A how to get a good start or review of best trucks/scouts would be useful. I stopped playing a while ago but preordered on the Switch so I can finally get the Navistar 5000-MV Tractor. Thanks and I should of asked earlier seeing that the release date is less than a week away.
@@ATribeCalledCars Yeah. These 2 trucks took me over The Star in the Sky & paid for The Price of Victory, way before mods came to me. These 2 are the ones I call on when things get serious.
I dunno, anything people use the DAN for I end up using the KOLOB instead (large trailers like Star in the Sky). When I need a crane, the 73210 is my rig, but I only pull it out occasionally because if you use it all the time it's like playing the game on easy mode.
@@ATribeCalledCars me eeither but thought I would give it a try, was super cheap on sale, I'll say this they could learn a lot from Snowrunner. The trains look great but the scenery around the tracks are very poor
I agree on these for the Vanilla trucks, but add to that the Modded ones : the Titan 813 (med log carrier and can pull a med log trailer at same time 500l of fuel and 8 wheel drive on massive tayga tyres. The Crewcab is very good too at genreal jobs but can carry medium logs on one of its flatbed addons. I also found the twinsteer surprisiling good in Wisconsin so far mainly for hauling the goods for foxing the paper mill and power plant contracts
Firstly Wisconsin is totally Brats, Beer and cheese. Secondly the derry's are made in oshkosh, which is in wisconsin, not advocating them as great in game but hey, honourable mention?
"Tayga King will make many other trucks look bad" I had to pull a fully upgraded International Paystar 5600TS with it which is a shame for a 10x10 truck.
It's the iX Wrecker, great truck that can be made to fit with the game or highly overpowered! When the suspension dies it does the lowrided thing I showed.
@@ATribeCalledCars so lucky here to not have had to deal with a lockdown. But the lack of regular routine really does mess with the noggin. Also. Our clocks changed this past weekend, so that’s always fun. Thanks for another great video 👍🏻
is there a way to turn off auto translate for video titles? i want to watch an english video on an english speaking channel, why on earth is the title in a different language?
@@TheKincognito I'm glad you mentioned it because having subtitles and having translated video titles and the description are separate. I wasn't sure what made the latter show up and now I do. Thanks!
