HOW DO I GET THE SNOWRUNNER PTS?
You have to have the PC version from the Epic Game Store. Then download the separate PTS client and run it. You can duplicate your save game so you don't have to redo things.

Thank god it's less painful than the Kola Peninsula map's! It took me 3-4 attempts to do star in the sky! I found sanctuary in the Azov 64131. Can't wait for phase 2!

Also if you unpack the cargo it goes through the trees so the wings won't get stuck when you take the main pice of the plane.

Canadian maps have such a view! I only did 100% British Columbia but i will go for Ontario and Yukon later. What i really hate are russian maps,horrible garbage.

Talk about frustrating, the most frustrating task I’ve ever completed in Snowrunner thus far was “The Star in the Sky” mission in Imandra. I had to restart that mission about 6 times and it probably took me about 10hrs to complete. What a accomplishment, holy hell!

That's definitely my second place, I know some things just disappeared on people which is a nightmare. Good job for finishing though. Can't see it getting much tougher than that!

Yukon is one of my favourite maps. Low flooded terrain vs hight snowy mountains is fantastic!!! Those risky cliffs are really cool too...

They really should make a snow plow attachment with some missions to go with it! Also would be cool to see random computer players driving around once in awhile... getting stuck. You helping them out and in them earning a small xp and money reward.

I'd love to see both. Having AI drivers who help your business is something I was thinking about the other day. But just some randoms trucking about would add some life to SnowRunner too.

I just started this map and it's tons of fun. I like the varied terrain of snow and mud. The climbing sections are tricky, and require planning. The game keeps getting better and better.

This looks more like it. The best fun I’ve had is when it feels like I’m in a Top Gear challenge, and this looks more of that. Also, where did our drivers’ over active arms go??

It's definitely got a better vibe, some of the trails are really fun to drive and definitely challenging. You can select to remove the driver's arms in Phase 2, so decided to show that off.

I've just spent 2 days in the Flooded Foothills on PS4. It seems to me that resources are still infinite. You will find infinite metal beams at the warehouse that's on the same island as the garage. You will find infinite cement, bricks & consumables at the warehouse near the log station. You will find infinite wooden planks at the sawmill. You will find infinite cargo containers at the railway station. You can craft infinite concrete blocks or slabs using cement at the concrete plant. There's no service spare parts or vehicle spare parts or oil rig drills or drilling equipment or oversized containers in Yukon.

If you was ever wondering, UOD II and OHD I are the best offroad tires. Spreadsheets give those two tires a 1.9 mud value. All the rest only have have a 1.5. So either go for the old MudRunner style tires, or the P16 style tires if you are using offroad class.

@@TimostrategytheMoth Sure. It was one I found when going around on Google a few days ago. I've been using UOD II and OHD I for months anyway as I found them the best, and some RU-vidrs I think TC for one agreed that those two sets felt like the best. So I guess this just kinda confirmed it. Image was taken from Reddit. I did just notice there is also a OHS II that has a 1.8. Is that a specialty tire? Most trucks that use offroad class from my memory either use UOD or OHD that I remember. Anyway here's the image i.redd.it/p78ck90skdx41.png

@@Ranzoe813 The P16 uses a a special set of OHD I tires with increased stats. A loading screen shows P16 with a set of All Terrain tires but you can't actually pick them in game.

I used to live/work in the remote regions of the Yukon-Koyukuk in northern Alaska and flew right over the Yukon river several times a year -- it'll be interesting to see how it's represented in-game. I hated driving out over the frozen tundra IRL, got stuck a lot -- we rolled trucks off of hillsides, got stuck in drifts, slid off roads, and dropped vehicles and equipment through the ice a few times going over rivers, creeks, and lakes. A literal waking nightmare, all at about -50F. I miss it, there's nothing like it in the world.

It could be simultaneously exciting, terrifying, painful, stressful, boring, and outright miserable most of the time -- but I love/hate gold mining, I haven't had any other jobs that challenged me at my absolute limits like that. Had three coworkers die in my first three years of mining, one was a good friend, then I almost lost my ears and nose to frostbite, I'm still in my mid-20's lol

I like the 49 x with the tag axle. Hopefully more updates provide the trucks with useable tage axles in the future. And I bet around the 1st week of November will phase 2 will launch.

@@ATribeCalledCars I am thinking of using the Apache and the hummer in phase 2 maps. Because I have not touched the hummer since Alaska and I figured with 6x6 Apache it would be a beast in Canada same for hummer but idk about the hummer because I heard it got nerfed hardcore just like how the Khan was beast at 1st they both nerfed the Khan and hummer.

Im Canadian and as far as this looks, i think they got the evironment nailed.... btw im going to spend most my time in this map to be honest, no offence. This is one of the features i have always wanted. To beable to play within my own country, whether its a farm sim or any other kind of sim. Like, finally this company realizes we exist AND makes a pretty dam good addition.

@@ATribeCalledCars I got the DLCs quite recently, i managed to get to the garage in Imandra but the armored cars made me want to break my monitor, i had to restart like 6 times and the time when i actually got them on my twinsteer i tipped over like 20s in, and then when i used my crane i put one of them on the dan's roof and accidently reset the crane's position which literally caused the armored car to launch up into the air lol. I raged on to Yukon and im really enjoying it

@@lamarr51 Yeah Imandra is made artificially difficult in that task and it is not really fun. Yukon is one of my faves although the cabin bit is a bit repetitive to some people. Good luck!

Imandra garage is a challenge for the committed, all the complainers be quiet and put the effort in. Would you want a game that is so easy you complete it without really trying? Bring on the new maps. Canada looks great so far. Thanks for another great vid! Ps, I wanted a tee shirt but why are they all so small sizes? All the best take care.

Thanks for another great vid Ben. I gave up on Kola Peninsula - I hated it so much I stopped playing the game for two months, it just felt like endless pain with little gain. Came back to it a few days ago and thought I'd just see if Yukon was a bit more enjoyable - and I'm loving it!! It's maybe my favourite so far, or maybe it's just because I've missed it, but I love the cabin building missions, the amazing variety of terrain - there is so much to discover. I've scouted almost all of the two maps with my amazing modded Tayga.... long live the King! So I'm back in love with Snowrunner - now all I need is peace in Ukraine and I'll be a happy camper again 🙂

Its unfortunate that they would put 1 in 4 new trucks behind a pay wall, however i can understand it, as they are a smaller developer and even the Big developers are doing it. Often at higher mark ups. Normally it would have been $60 for the base game and another 25 for the season pass, with extras on top of that

It's half decent, although could still do with a bit more oomph. I find other heavy trucks work better generally. Still, it looks cool!

If so, then I suspect that, by the time mods for the 73210 comes out, the 74760 will become irrelevant.

Hey, I see you were using that CAT loader. I tried it...didn't like it because I spent too much time figuring out how to operate that thing. I realize, it now seems more like just a toy rather than a real tool in Snowrunner, but you could do a video tutorial on how to use it... . Perhaps we all will need it in the future. Thumbs up for the commercial integration (the end part lol)

Question about the limited resources thing.. so after you complete all the tasks and contracts will there still be places to load up on them? Because part of the fun when you have no tasks is to haul stuff around to test things out..

I imagine there will be ways to do this even when done, I've just not completed everything yet. I believe some items can be manufactured so that would solve the problem although I've not checked how finite these are.

Another excellent video! Snowrunner already provides 100's of hours of fun and dismay, which is pretty fun as well. Hundreds of hours of enjoyment and misery to come. Just an amazing game. 👍

The extra height is sometimes useful but it's still not as good as it looks. I still prefer the 73210 and the new KRS 58.

It's a shame people get upset that there is slow moments. In real life you won't be bombing through deep snow and mud with these vehicles. I've been in vehicles getting screwed over by an inch of mud because it's so damn slippery.
