This truck model was the first purpose built over the road semi tractor-trailer, and was built through the early 80's. This truck was the beginning of the flagship line of Peterbilt leading up to the 379 which was the champ.

Ya. That's a peterbilt 281. I've been trying to find an original one with tandem axels, but that's hard. Everyone keeps chopping them up.

Snoopy the ace, I know it was a 281, however when they went back and added scenes they used a 351, just saying it reminded me of it. I even made a model of the truck trailer was off but still a decent one

One truck mod I've been using is the Ford 9000 truck Norris mod, it makes it feel more like the truck it was, and I also got a mod to do dual trailers so it's basically a road train

There is one part near the end of the video where TC9700 is taking on a corner and he attempts to use the winch to move the rear end of the trailer, but it could have gone a lot smoother i think if he had gone maybe just a bit wider and just stayed kinda on the edge of the trail or just place the truck half on the trail and half off it, he could've made the full turn with such a huge trailer but simply that's just my opinion.

My only criticism is it looks too perfect. Would be better if the paint was weathered or at least some signs of use. Just looks to crisp and new for me. Nice truck though, would love to see this rolling coal around the streets of the U.K with our tiny ass roads 😂

I wish they would make it that you can sale trailers from the map only if you have explored them and they show up on the map I wish you could click on them and sale or recover to the parking lot at the garages so then that would help with the trailers that glitch's out really bad

I don't see how, they're plyable rubber on spring steel. I've bounced many a trailer off mine without hurting them.

@@JemFipar not literally in the way as i could just make them non collidable but for the sake of being an offroad version of the 351 there would be moments where they clip the ground if i had left the stock ones on, much like the front bumper, i trimmed it down to provide better clearance

The only thing I don’t like about it is the paint. It’s looks too ‘new’ if that makes any sense. It would be awesome if it had worn paint with all the Perterbilt logos.
