The reason it does so well is because of the traction multiplier, with 1 wheel it's not great, but with 2 wheels the surface area is much larger, giving it a lot of grip

It may not be king, but every king has their champion. And this is the champion against extreme offroad conditions. Seeing it tackle the deep mud and deep snow is super satisfying, it can definitely serve as a heavy rescue unit in such bogged down terrain. Just missing on the snorkel.

K-7M with dual wheels is unstoppable and quite fast for vehicle like this. But also very sluggish to drive. Especially when turning, it seems to "resist" to turn. When farming I rather use single wheel.

Totally agree 👍 best off road vehicle. It's due to its FLOATATION, wider the tires and more on a vehicle etc the easier to go over any terrain. Yes limited with add ons but is King as a pull unit.

The only thing that really stops it (other than tight spaces) are steep inclines. Not gonna edge out the zikz simply because the zikz is way more useful with its add ons such as the flat bed and crane, but for trailer rescue missions, regular rescue missions, and of course farming the K7m is my new go to. And if it had saddles? Don’t get me started, that would be amazing

First thing I did was take it to Imandra. I was thoroughly impressed. After about 10mins I was immediately concerned about the devs nuking its performance in the future.

Just unlocked this today, the lack of addons really hinders it’s usefulness, but it is pretty frugal on fuel, so I generally use it as a very capable scout to just tear across any part of any map to get a particular upgrade or lookout tower, where other scouts are completely bogged down even without a trailer, it just rolls over anything

Great video SD1ONE! I never expected the K-7M to be THAT much better than all the top monster trucks. Too bad they made the diff lock constant. Both the K-7M and the K-700 would have been better on the field if the diff lock was switchable.

Gonna buy this tractor for mud and snow pulls other trucks can't do. If it has one use, that's definitely it. And that's a lot of use.

The 605r is less King, and according to Snow runner (when unlocking the vehicle), more like the Princess of SR haha. I could say queen but I think that title might go to the 10x10 crane Azov. (From what people have told me in real life it has use as a fire truck too)

man, this new K7-M is so powerful with these dual wheels, it ends up performing better than the Zikz 605R

K7M with duallys make easy work of the snow and thin ice in Kola Peninsula. Navigating through dense trees and tight passages is another story though.

Well, I do believe there's only one thing that needs to be said to summarize it all. Holy shit. That said, the maneuverability problem could possibly make it best used to tow other trucks through tough terrain, then stay behind as they move on, to reduce hassle.

Thinking of getting this to help me complete amur. The caterpillar 745c is great but it can struggle pulling along my kolob in the deep ice mud. Do you think the k7m would be a superior towing truck in those conditions or is it not worth the extra money for the little performance boost?

what testing maps do you use?

Is there any truck from the game or dlc capable of breaking trees? i mean the big ones, cause i remember in spintires that you could do that

the only reason why I kind of hate it is because of the turn radius it’s so big

I haven't tested it much with duallies, but I put them off when I realized they make its turning way worse. With singles, however, it's really bad. Hits its nose all the time. Please include rough terrain in your tests (ups and downs of the ground) and you'll see it struggles there. Not working snorkel is also a downside.

The only thing I don't like about the k7m I the stiff suspension

Off Subject! Experimental field produces 2 loads of potatoes. The delivery point at the station is wanting 4 loads. Potatoes from the store don't work, the field will not let you grow another crop. How do you get another 2 loads of experimental potatoes. And! no cargo containers are available to craft into workers cabins. Glitches of what!

How about thin ice and the distinctive "ice mud" in Amur? Both thin ice and ice mud manages to stuck my Tuz 420 completely. But KRS-58 surprisingly can got through them no problem at all. Even Tayga with same wheel can't do this. So I wonder how K-7M will perform.

It lacks power, to be honest, but its still very good.

I really not like tests. Trucks are tools for right job at right place. I understands that tests determine how good they are at at harsh environment, but I rather not drive em all into deep snow nor deep mud. I rather not pull heaviest trailer while drive uphill. I actually wants test to be time race to see how fast truck can deliver cargo trailers from A to B either drive on main roads and/or shortcut roads.

See i beg to difer with this the k7m dose prefore veary well in mud and snow but the terain has to be very even and large rocks or deep ruts and this thing dies as it has no suspension hills are especially bad if there is to many rocks even small ones thus thing becomes useless all these tests were made in optimal conditions for the k7m but out in the real maps this thing leaves much to be desired i love this truck dont get my wrong its just not useable in 90% of the terain you will face on the maps

Well it’s a tractor not a truck so not surprising.

Try a real game test. None of the tractors turn sharp enough, you have to use the next field to turn around in. It is impossible not to demolish the fence surrounding the field. The tractors will not pull the implements in a straight line. The understeer is legendary. The twin wheels make the turning worse, the single wheels sink in the mud. Please can a Modder make a proper usable tractor. I would love to see one of the phase 8 fields being worked on correctly with these hopeless vehicles.

K7m is crap. It's can't ride on the solid surfaces like grass, gravel and rocks, it's can't load on heavy haul trailer or heavy evacuation platform. K700 is more usually than k7m.
