SnowRunner News Another Vehicle Coming Soon. Warthog Gets Auto Winch And Many Other PTS Changes DLC 

I am with you 100 percent I don’t understand why a short log trailer is not a thing. I played mudrunner a few months ago and they have scout logging trailers. ( I came to the series with snowrunner so late bloomer lol) why do we not have a bit more variety it’s very annoying taking short logs 1 truck at a time when you can take a trailer of mediums and medium addon. It’s surely a missed opportunity so far and the fact they keep missing it late after update and don’t see it as a thing we could really use Amazes me.

​​@@G4mingWithJJ yep, exactly... I'm coming even from original Spintires, so I'm keep getting dissapointed how Sabre just won't innovate with new gameplay mechanics, features etc... Like I get the Snowrunner is probably targetting different kind of players/costumers but still the original Spintires was so ahead and had a huge potential... try to look into that, what the old developer team was planning to make in Spintires. It's actually so exciting and sad at the same time becuase it's crystal clear that all the things like tracked vehicles, bulk cargo with dumpers for like stones, sand, gravel etc.., being able to land scape the terrain with bulldozer and thus creating your own paths, tree cutting and many more... all scrapped features seems like. However, after 4 years of Snowrunner development we are getting glimpse of more destructable/dynamic environment - the collapsing stones in the quarry. So maybe the developers are trying to use some of the old ideas after all? I dunno... but still Snowrunner has been in this stale state for so long, many things to improve, many features to add, I don't thing we shall see anything new other than more vehicles of already existing types and regions. Heck to be fully honest I don't think we shall ever see the Short log trailer even... 🥲 I'd be hoping for possible ability of hitching multiple trailers in a road train style, but well... I think that's way too much to wish for apparently

yes having a road train of 2 or 3 trailers or something would be really cool but i think it would be hard to do without making the vehicles to strong for people who just want to run 1 cargo lol. maybe they can make them strong but not faster or something. i would love to see short logs but i am with you i dont expect to see anything from the rest of year 4 really a few new trucks new regions and vehicles but they havent innovated much for a while i think it would take a whole new game for that to happen even then might need a new dev team who is open to making those things happen.

Yes the scouts getting bigger tires wider stances as well for all those trucks I thought it was only scouts but I went and checked it’s all of them. Also excited for the phoenix changes as we will be getting to season 5 after Amur so perfect timing for those. Yeah as esorokin said something a lot the lines of visually distinct from other regions. It is a bit more difficult which I also like but it seems as though some of the difficulties will be fixed through pts one had yellow squares like to start a task or drop stuff off but I can’t fix it yet. A few other spots that have nothing but in the files it shows where they would be so it will be there later or maybe I haven’t done the stuff to unlock it.

Yeah that’s why when I heard about it I was live streaming I was like didn’t he just say no more scouts? And they said yeah lol I was like okay so I’m not like mis remembering what he said or anything and they were like no that’s what he said. Yeah new backs would be nice I was thinking the same thing use the license for other vehicles not a scout idk the terms maybe it had to be a scout but from all we know it could be any licensed truck form whatever brand it was for.

Yeah nice to see some of those trucks getting a bit of love even if it’s just the tires I’m a fan. And yes I can’t wait I’m in season 4 on hard mode so phoenix getting these changes will be just in time for me.

@@G4mingWithJJ very nice - do you region locations to decide which trucks to use? I’m thinking of doing that with Hard Mode, lock it to Russian trucks in Russian maps etc

Yes on my hard mode I use North American vehicles in North American regions and Russian vehicles in Russian regions. But seems like it’s more complicated now lol they added Azerbaijan (glades) then Scandinavia now Kazakhstan so might have to make a 3rd set lol tatra’s royam bm 17 the Indian scouts lol.

You are about the 5th person to say something like this. And I hope it’s not the case but they don’t listen to the community we don’t want more scouts and most players didn’t want expeditions they went to earn a bit more money but it’s costing them like you said with making the main game people enjoy not as good as it could be. @@G4mingWithJJ I think it's like in many jobs in our lives, some employees listen to the customer, share their opinion and would like to change something for the benefit of the customer, but some narrow-minded bosses don't allow it. Really sad.

yes this is a great point i have heard some of the wealthiest people in the world are wealthy partly because they are willing to listen to anyone. if a person on the absolute bottom of the chain has an idea they will listen because it doesnt matter whos idea it is it could be helpful. i remember seeing a reported interviewing elon musk taking a tour at space X and the guy asked him a question and he thought about it was like you know thats a good point now that i think about it we really should be doing that and next time the guy came he had it changed. i know its off topic but i think they would be much better off listening to the player base on all our requests but no implementing them all obviously lol.

​@G4mingWithJJ your right about nobody wanting expeditions. And it's just not a good game. Snowrunner is clearly the flagship game for the series of spintires. The fact there still adding to Snowrunner even after dropping expeditions should give some hope they'll continue with the game. Expeditions was truely a big let down and everyone who's played it can see its just not a good game. Most have gone back to Snowrunner. I can scout on Snowrunner. I don't need a whole game for just that. 😂

Yeah I enjoyed playing the game. But I’m 1000 percent a snowrunner player over that. I came to the series on snowrunner so can’t speak much of mudrunner and spin tires but I’d like to see them do more with game but not in the direction they went with in expeditions. Jack screws and drone dropping fuel and stuff just seem to futuristic not my favorite.

Yes I have seen in the game files season 14 has 2 maps. If the map is really well done does it matter if it’s 1 map? More would be nice but tbh if the choice was 2 play maps or 1 really cool map I’d probably opt for the 1 map. Cuz the 2 would just feel like any other it’s nice to have a different feel to them.

That might not be a bad idea. But yeah it feel like the devs don’t have enough people to really innovate much on the game it’s basically we have enough people to make 2 maps every 3 months and 4 maps once a year for the 4 regions along with x number of trucks and bug fixes. It feels like they hired just enough to get by and don’t want to hire more to push new and better things into the game. Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like they could hire more people and make bigger more epic things but just choose not to.

Thank you! I very much appreciate that. Funny thing is I basically recorded it in 2 separate days in a weird order so I’m glad you liked it lol. I thought the flow was very good start with season 13 news what people probably most wanna see then go into some changes that will take effect with vehicles and such and sorta show that and then dig into the whole patch notes so they can get all the info. Before I used to sort of cherry pick stuff to say what I thought people wanted to hear but I realized some people might care about the lights being fixed some might only play coop and care about those coop fixes and so it got me thinking I should read the whole thing for you guys to give you all the news if people want to click away they got what they came for then that’s fine I am sure the extra info will be helpful for some folks who I may have previously not been attracting because I didn’t read whatever it was that pertained to them that I may have left off.

yeah it has been found in the game files to have at 2 maps in season 14. it could be more but highly doubtful. every region has been 2 or 4 besides tennessee until now. so a 3 map region wouldnt make much sense and why would they make a 1 map region then 3? better off with 2 and 2 probably. so i think it will follow the trend of 2 maps in season 14 and 2 in 15 along with 4 in 16. also thanks for the kind words much appreicate that Rick. i wanted to make this video yesterday but i made 4 videos and then streamed for like 6 hours so didnt feel like it after i got done lol.

they did same with DON region. It has 2 maps, but these are too small to count as 2 maps. Especially when there are many bigger maps than 2 Don maps together.

Tell those modders to release some maps on console

​@@peterv8459 But two maps are better than one, even when they are so small. Why? Because it's easier to make them look and feel unique. One map with truck factory and nature reserve at the same time is just strange and unnatural, but when this map is divided into two of different topography and idea, it's more beliavable and immersive. I know that season 13 is bigger than season 5, but I really like the idea of tunnels of connections between maps in the same region. Game is blank if lacks of it (via season 7 and season 13)

yeah and it sounds like the next vehicle coming is another stand alone dlc scout vehicle. i could be wrong but for sure its a scout a licensed scout truck. which probably means its paid.

Yes it can also have a bed in that combination I did not try crane bed trailer with spare tire though so I should have tested that sometimes when you got so much you miss a thing or 2.

@G4mingWithJJ yeah now the TATRA Phoenix will be much more matched to its bigger badder older brother and its Crane+bed combo. It never made sense to me why the Phoenix couldn't have it 🤨

I think the other scout will be a stand alone paid DLC as its is licensed not to mention we have only got 1 free dlc so far. But yeah 1 map for season 13. Maybe the new truck comes out during 13 it could even be into season 14 we have no idea on the time table it was just announced yesterday on discord.

Yeah I feel like they just do the minimum to map the game and not try to make it any better with new stuff. This region has breakable rocks which is cool and in expected but yes please no more scouts and let’s get some more in depth stuff like you mentioned here.

Yeah that’s very annoying I almost never play coop but I have had that where someone gets kicked and then is unable to join back. Then the host has to totally quit out and host a new game just for them to be able to join again huge pain. But yes at least they are fixing something.

It is region specific. That’s the reason why I couldn’t show the trucks I had to use screen shots from someone else. My trucks are still ford.

Yes I did test this combo and it works however I didn’t test with the spare wheel there as well but yes that crane bed trailer combo does work.

the way it works is they add all these things into pts and then they update it maybe once a week for a few weeks maybe 1-2 months. once they think everything is ready to go they then release season 13 for everyone. so all the truck fixes to old trucks everyone will get. its only the new trucks cargo region that kinda stuff you wont get, hopefully that help Patrick. let me know if i need to explain it more.

I don’t think so I actually just had this talk the other day some companies really listen to the fan base and what they want obviously you can’t do that for everything they want but some companies are very good at listening to what people are saying and implementing the best of those things but it doesn’t seem like saber will maybe they don’t have the ability or resources or whatever it might be maybe it’s timeline or investors who knows. But imo no they won’t it’s been a lot of copy paste over the duration of the game and I don’t see that changing in year 4. What do you think?

I agree with you hopefully if year 5 comes out that it be a lot better and hopefully like we all want more trucks no more scouts for awile

@@rileydavis4964 yeah it sounds like the next scout would be mid season 13-14 so then about half way through 14 all of 15 and all of 16 should be no more scouts hopefully!

I think it’s only Belarus Russia and Ukraine but I could be wrong on that one. But I drove a ford in real life artem am I doomed lol?

So yes the truck is load 450 it is a new truck that just came into the game on Friday it is only available if you have pts (public test server) which means you need to own the game on epic games for computer. If you have any more questions let me know I have like 1300 snowrunner videos or something so I can answer just about anything you would want to know lol.
