Lol I commented this advise like 3 videos ago.....he's very entertaining but at the same time I find myself thinking "if you did Iso and so you would be more efficient as you like to say"
Glad it's not just me making videos of SnowRunner, it's such a satisfying game. Not got the P16 yet but the Derry Longhorn and Tayga are great, especially when upgraded. Also an upgraded Hummer wears Alaska like a hat.
Hi Trevor I would recommend using the GMC with the towing platform, then drive the scout onto it pack the scout then replace the ramp, then have the fleetstar or paystar with the low saddle go through island lake to find fuel trailers then bring both to drummond island
The P16 excels in one thing and one thing only. Towing. It has the torque and power to move anything anywhere. Strap a high saddle on, attach it to one of the heavy haul trailers and before you can say Canadian Built Steel she’s off and got it done. You’re gonna love it.
If you want 7 slots you can attach the long flatbed with the low saddle and use your winch from the trailer to the drawbar of the 4 wheel flatbed and drive around like that You just cant use your winch to get you out of trouble
As soon as he swapped trucks the ones that were on the trailer would clip through the trailer. Unfortunately it wouldn’t work like that even though it seems like the trailers were meant to work like that
my braincells commited suicide watching you put the scout on the flatbed hahahah park it behind the flatbed and lift the front of the scout dragging it on
He really doesn’t get any credit. It’s kinda sad. All these other RU-vidrs and award shows are judging him based on a decision he made years ago while they all make videos crying whenever they screw up because they’re terrified of being canceled. I see very little people making content as entertaining as Trevor and none of them are huge youtubers.
RU-vid has given me a place to get away from the negative world, thank you. During these times I am also trying to spread positiveness with my content xD
Social media has always been a platform for people to escape the cruelness of the real world, without it i wouldn't know where to go next at this point.
I’m not a fan of gaming commentators but for this game, you are an exception. You’ve summed up the brain processes & strategy planning this game requires perfectly. Cheers Subbed
Quick tip.. if you drive up to a steep incline and if you back your flat bed right to the ground you can drive right onto the flat bed, leaving a little more space for anything.
The time-lapses are really nice I like them a lot. Because then we can kinda see what you've had to go through. The choppiness is not bad but this "to me" looks really nice.
Tip when using the winch to tow vehicles. In Mudrunner once you attached the vehicle you can open that menu again and change the winch mode from drive to pull for the connected vehicle. Drive winch mode is there to help you get the vehicle unstuck or pull it up a big hill by having it auto drive to assist the towing vehicle. Not sure if this is the same for Snowrunner, it should be though.
Khan burned gas because the accelerator is used to aid in pulling the vehicle by A.I so there isn’t as much stress on the pulling vehicle same thing if you’re driving the khan, the truck would be accelerating as well even though it is in front of the khan. Same idea computer aiding you in moving the connected vehicles this probably won’t be seen but an explanation for those who are curious and don’t know how that got changed from MudRunner
If you progress naturally and complete one map before moving on to the next one (I jumped to Alaska and Russian to get BM 17 and Tayga) then by the time you find P16 there is absolutely NO reason to have it in you garage/storage, because you would have access to P12 with AWD and 57” tires or CAT 745 with 71” (doesn’t have a good variety of attachments) which are great for hauling from deep water/mud, and, compared to KOLOB from same category, are quick. Also by the time you get to P16 you should have enough rank to get 47” mud tires for Tayga. Tayga with 47” or 51” mudtires and another heavy duty with AWD and 57”+ tires and there is not 1 mission in snowrunner that can stop you, you don’t even need chains.
You activated my PTSD with the HSM. I worked a month long production of it at a local theater in Bakersfield and then the actual Disney production of it the following month for IATSE in the arena.
Bro When you are about to get stuck Make sure you follow below step 1. All wheel drive 2. Low range + diff lock 3. Adjust low range(high or low) 4. Winch(in off roading winch should be used only when you are completely stuck) Btw love your videos brother
Best start in a new area if you don't know what you will find, bring truck with flatbed or sideboard, fuel trailer, and then use winch to tow scout behind the trailer. You can park the trailer wherever you want it, have your Scout (towing uses scout fuel as it drives to follow you but it's not much), and still have cargo space so you can work on clearing roads. All in one trip
Here I am in 2022 watching this series for the 5th time. I wish Trev made made videos on this games there has been so much dlc. Take the original snow runner and now there’s more than double the amount been added to the game. And I’m putting this comment in every video in this series
Russia is one of the hardest for sure, but if you go through it first, you get some badass stuff Also what I do is I take the ck1500 with a scout fuel trailer, and tow it around with the khan to explore, 900L of fuel is a lot for two lil scouts, can find all the watch towers in a map in a single run if you do it right
"Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn't stop to consider whether or not they should." is what should have been said at 9:58
Great episode and that P16 looks massive! About your fuel tanker, though: I think you refuelled your jeep from the * truck's * gas tank, not from the tank it was carrying... You probably need to switch the source choice to get fuel from the tank itself.
Tmartn you are the most consistent you-tuber out there. you post a couple videos a day and even the top you tubers don’t post as much as you. let me know in comments if you know a you-tuber that posts more than him. I’m loving the snow runner series.
You can pull a truck behind you with a winch, also flipping over in no man's land will leave you to TMRTN Heavy Rescue, you won't want to respond back to a different map everytime you have a oopsy daisy lol
If you have the winch connected it automatically drives the tail vehicle, good if stuck. You can also drive the trail vehicle and it will control the drive vehicle.
Their is a ramped flatbed trailer in the game but he probably didn’t use it because it’s freakin huge & their is only one other trailer you can buy that’s bigger & it uses a fifth wheel. The ramped flatbed is pulled behind your truck & that makes it stick out WAY farther than the bigger trailer & WAY harder to back up with. Don’t know about anyone else but I don’t wanna go into an uncharted area pulling a 40 to 50 foot long trailer just to haul an 8 to 10 foot long truck! Not to mention that map doesn’t have a garage & if you end up having to recover your truck all the way to the other side of a different map for whatever reason, the trailer does not come with you... So yeah, he definitely made the right choice to do it like he did.
I believe it was hard to put the khan on the trailer perfectly square because you were wenching it from the side so when you pulled it up , it was pulled up sideways so it would be nearly impossible to have it be centered unless you winched it from the front of the khan
You probably should have towed the car most of the way and bought a petrol tank to refuel at the end. Just buy the petrol tank, refill and then sell it back for the same amount. If you're going to put the car on the back of a flatbed then just leave the crane attached to the car, that way it can't fall off :)
The entire runner franchise whenever you tow something with the winch it always starts the engine and Burns a little gas so that the other engine is working and your not just hauling dead weight that way you don't stick in as much in mud
Pull it on from behind like it’s driving on. Once the front is up you attach to winch to rear and lift and slide truck on. Then you lower and center boom as much as possible then leave winch attached and the drive away the winch will hold it
