In this video of snowrunner we have an unreleased offroad truck TUZ 108 "Warthog" and we're gonna pit it against newly released TUZ 16 "Actaeon" to see which is better. Instagram: / sd1one_yt Facebook: / sd1one Tweeter: / sd1one
The stability test should be disregarded you had two different addons one was a fuel tank and the other had a flatbed addon and knowing the fuel tank addon adds a higher center of gravity makes this test results disqualified.
You screwed up the stability test! You a one piece flatbet on tuz 16 and a fuel tank on the 108... Thats not fair the fuel tank has a higher centre of gravity!
@@R3LOADlikesgames the weight of the vehicles are obviously different. The point of testing is to show which is better in what conditions with the same load out, that it what is considered fair. All other tests of his that I know of is like that and unlike this one. No point at all testing a kolob against a tayga with a fuel tank or heavy crane just because it weighs the same and see which tips over easier. LOL to the max. The only thing possible is that he made a mistake in testing and just don't want to admit it in the comments.
Sorry, someone may have pointed this out already, but Tuz 16 can have a crane and box whereas the Tuz 108 cannot have both. This would make the Tuz 16 more useful for missions with single items.
If playing singleplayer, or are isolated from friends, the 16's autonomous winch will be a lifesaver. Based on that fact alone, I'd pick it over the Warthog. But that's honestly it. It's harder to handle, lighter (which could cause problems going uphill with a trailer) and seems weaker at hauling in general. Even if it might be better for scouting, I'd probably rather pick an actual scout for that.
@C-Bomb then you're not using it right lmao. I do just fine with it. In every map. It doesn't get stuck. Eats through snow and mud is great for scouting and gets and auto winch. Plus it gets 900 extra liters of fuel with the fuel add on and can winch to a fuel trailer and gets like an extra 80 L in the roof rack. It's more intended as a heavy scout than a hauler or task truck. It can also climb rocks and hills really well. But between the 980 extra liters of fuel it gets without having to winch a fuel trailer on top of it's already 110 L fuel tank it gets over 1000 fuel the add the fuel from the winched trailer and boom almost 2000. It's literally one of the best vehicles in the game for scouting just for the massive amount of fuel you can have with it alone. I've had no problems getting it through island lake, Drummond island, drowned lands, the new lake kovd map, zimnegorsk or the rift, or the Alaska maps.
Huh, Actaeon with it's auto winch thing might make it more suited to a heavy scouting role, while the Warthog's ability to haul semi-trailers make for a lighter offroad-capable highway truck. Aside from those two points, they both act so similar that one could do fine with one or the other in a complete coin-toss between the two.
In fact, TUZ 108 (GAZ-3308 Sadko) originated from TUZ 16 (GAZ-66 in Russia, it is known as Shishiga) and the latter in the 1960s was passable and steeper than the first
2:45 tuz108 is only slightly better because it carries 600L fueltank and the tuz 16 has a 900L fuel tank Yes it has the same mods but they dont carry the same weight
Hey dude. I have some ideas for future comparisons. Hope you like them! ZiKZ 5368 vs Chevy Kodiak C70 Ford ClT9000 vs International Transtar Voron Grad vs Tayga 6436 Caterpillar CT680 vs Freightliner 114sd
I wanna see Hammer Stock tires VS Hammer OS1 39" tires becouse maybe stock tires has better stats but if the mud is 1-2 inch deeper with the 39% you will be able to move because you will have ground clearance.
I love both of these trucks since both are basically scout trucks with simi truck capabilities. The 16 can have autonomous winch and pull the bigger trailers that don't require a saddle but the 108 can have a low saddle but no autonomous winch. Both are a pain to control and can flip over super easy if you lose comtrol going fast but if they didn't have some caveat they would be too good. With high range gear box they can be totally undrivable on roads but when hauling something and you throw them into high it's a perfect balance of speed and pulling capabilities so I typically stick with the high range gearbox on them.
how are you gunna do a stability test with one using the gas tank and one using the empty flatbed lmao. The gas tank is way heavier... More biased info.
I prefer the looks of the Actaeon, but it looks like the Warthog is a slightly better truck, so I guess it depends on the task your trying to complete. Both are great new additions to the game!
From my experience the Warthog can pull semi trailers but because of the short chassis the trailer can't turn properly and will hit the back of the cab. But due to the larger fuel capacity of the Warthog I'll probably choose it over the Acteon
Tuz 16 is ok as a scout, but slow, but the Raised Suspension sucks on the small trucks they tilt too easy, i go with standart Suspension and the wide Medium big mudtires, i think the mudtires are better on the small trucks than chained they are wide more surface brings more stability
I like mud tires but too sensitive steering and slippy :( but still awesome. Unfortunately, I done four save slots. 😭😭😭😭 I'm thinking about last forth save slot useful for mods experiment then use second or third for fun. *(IF MODS ACTUALLY COMING TO CONSOLES)* 😅
Why stability test with different addons ? Maybe you should have placed utility addons on both of them and removed roof racks, as they are placed differently on both trucks ?
I just bought the Freightliner a while back. I can safely say it is goddamned slow with a load in any incline whatsoever. However it's fairly stable and seems to handle off camber terrain smoothly enough. It will probably grow on me. The Fleetstar seems like it has control issues at speed and the GMC with AWD is just a beast now.
yeah TUZ 108 can pull semi-trailers, but it wont turn unless it's gooseneck trailer. and even then good luck hauling anything, up hill you can't steer it since front wheels lift up the ground. and most other trucks can use crane with semi-trailers with better fuel consumtion, so TUZ 108 is unnessessary truck.
same here but then the stance on these 4x4 is bad...I mean the track width for other tires is way too narrow which make it look that tires are too inside (I mean tires other than mudtires)
@@SD1ONEthese are better for deep mud. Don't allow vehicle to get stuck. For everything else they are extremely (i repeat) extremely bad. Best overall tires for these trucks are UOD II Yes, they will get you stuck where mud is deep, but you winch yourself out no problem
I would choose the 16 because that can mount a small crane so it can lift single pieces of cargo and deliver it. And you forgot to go over mudels and fule copasity
@@SD1ONE which vehicle are you referring to? The acteon is quite tipsy. Hard to believe that a vehicle with a wider base is more tipsy, but you have gotten to drive it so I have to trust you.
Lol just waiting for someone to comment and be like "At ThIs SpEcIfIc PoInT iN tHe ViDeO yOu PuT a DiFfErEnT aDdOn On ThE tRuCk ThIs ViDeO iS cOmPlEtElY iNvAlId" and think people actually care. A good truck should be able to perform well enough with any addon (obviously with slight reductions because you know... physics) but like does it really matter?
