@@subwaysandwich1784 They're a bunch of nationalists who want independence, they're exactly like UKIP it's just the media who have slapped a different label on them.
Did you see Murrell, Sturgeon's wife, answering questions to a Scottish government committee today, what a dodgy i know nothing excuse for a character.
I am a proud Scot, who has lived in England for half my life. I like to think, I can see both sides, but the SNP are a one policy party...banging on about independence. I question, is that really the priority of the Scottish people or is it their general quality of life; education, policing, healthcare, etc. Financially, Scotland would not be able to be independent, they need an ever increasing Barnett formula to cover their expanding Scottish costs. In 2018-2019, the Scottish deficit was £7.9 billion, even including their dwindling North Sea oil revenue. The IFS has predicted, by the close of 2020 - 2021, their deficit will be 26-28% of GDP. Public spending in Scotland, is currently 12% higher than the UK overall. As of 2013-2014, Scotland’s share of the national debt was £132 billion. How would they pay that back, never mind what it is now or post coronavirus. These amongst other metrics should be understood by the SNP supporters, not just the ‘we hate the tories’ or Mel Gibson’s FREEDOM chant.
Nicola, your party does not represent the majority of Scots who voted to stay in the Union and leave the European Union, you're like a petulant child who hasn't got their way. Scotland needs a party to represent the people who voted to leave the EU and remain part of the UK, because Labour,Tories and the SNP certainly don't!
