They don't even look like they're transitioning from formation to formation, they just look like they're each effortlessly doing their own flawless thing and it incidentally puts them into symmetric and dynamic relation to one another. Next level shit. Unsurpassable.
The cameraman just focusses on one view. He is not to blame. The problem in most shows is the director who chooses which camera to pick the image from second per second. And it doesn't matter who is performing, they usually miss whoever is singing, miss the best choreography moments, switch too fast between views etc...
Snsd's changing formation is something that younger generation idol can't beat until forever..they don't even look back when they walk to change their position..you can see how much snsd is on point
I gotta agree. Although I loved the song "All Night", I was a bit lost watching the performance on MCountdown, especially in the beginning. Some members were doing something in the left side, some members were dancing as backup for the member singing and the members on the right were also doing something else. There was no harmony between the different moves. Having an even number of people ironically makes the choreography uneven. Odd numbers is key to symmetry. I mean you can do the good ol' "hide a member behind another" but it's better for fans and the performance in general to have all members seen.
Every steps and turns are calculated they are so in sync that your just gonna focus on their beautiful performance because they are doing it effortlessly.
They went to their positions so effortlessly so it looked super smooth!!! No wonder they are the legends, the Nation's Girl Group, Asia's Girl Group...
The perfect V shape is being called as legend cause it consists of perfect 9 girls ♥♥♥ I m gonna miss them cause they filled up my childhood to teen years Thanks for being SNSD 😘😘😘
This was the time when there really were girls out there learning the dance from going to live performances cuz dance practices barely existed. So great to discover this fancam after so many years. Although I wasn't able to see the choreography clearly, no wonder I was so obsessed with learning it.
Yeah i remember more idol groups started to upload dance practice videos around 2013 (there might be before that but back then the trend to cover kpop dance isn't as big as now)
people who looking for the best always surrounded by the best support system ... snsd looking for to be the best girl group in their time .. then they provided by the best Ent agency at that time .. they supported by the best song writer at that time .. they supported by the best choreographer at that time .. they supported by the best vocal teacher at that time .. they supported by the best instrumental musicians at that time .. they supported by the best management (manager&staff) at that time ... SNSD just practice and believe in what they do ... then they are the best up until now .. gg4eva
OMG THIS IS SO SATISFYING TO WATCH! Gotta give props for the choreographer-smart and such clean formations-and also high praise for the girls for the effortlessly smooth execution. Ugh legendary behavior
Saw them live and I could only afford the top seats but their formation was so good, it didn't even matter that they were far. I still don't know how they did it to this day.
This is one of my favorite choreo of SNSD. It's amazing how they are always so synch...thanks to them we have great groups with great choreos now (because the new groups have like goal to became a new SNSD) For me, the new groups like WJSN and OMG have a amazing choreos for the number of members.
I have yet to see new generation groups with 8 and above members to have formation THIS clean. Nothing tops SNSD's formation and dance point. Most groups always look messy. That's Rino Nakasone and SNSD for ya.
On a variety show they mentioned they had specific training days called Traffic practice that is meant soley for praciting their formations. Maybe thats why they are so good. Also they all got along well for a group. I see most of them interacting on IG.
this is what using the mirror in your practice room looks like. Let alone formation, Red Velvet's moves aren't even in the same angle, high, and width. Twice has rather clean synchronized moves but at times their transition/formation is a mess. Yet these two are supposed to be the top leading groups. I'm not saying this for hate but I'm so frustrated! Back in the days you should be in this quality but instead of improving it just drops in quality. The synchronized and clean ones are Weki Meki and GFriend but you know where their place are.
Every best in Kpop comes from 2nd gen. Best vocals=DBSK, best synchronization=SNSD, best in variety=SUper junior, best self-producing idol group= Bigbang and not to mention that 2nd gen is the best era of Kpop with Wondergirls, 2AM and 2PM, Afterschool, Kara, T-ara, BEG, Boa and Rain. This is still the superior era. Where group popularity is next to quality.
