Tiffany and Jessica are my bias in the group so maybe I'm a little misinformed/bias to their relationship. From my knowledge, Jessica and Tiffany has always been close. They were inseparable during Gee's era. They were basically best friends up until TTS debuted when Tiffany started to spend more time with Taeyeon it seems. Jessica in the cab ride show even stated that they're all close but they're always closer to whom they sit with or stand with and Jessica is seen standing/sitting next to Tiffany by choice in a lot of cases. When Jessica was filming Jessica & Krystal, Tiffany and Hyoyeon were the only ones that visited. Tiffany even bribed a fan for the last pastry that Jessica liked. There was also a shoot in Los Vegas where they girls got out in pairs Jessica and Tiffany were together. I don't know the exact name of the shoot, but I'm sure you can youtube it. Edit: Also, Tiffany was getting irritated and defending Jessica on that one talk show with Super Junior's Kyuhyun as a host. Jessica specifically requested to not have a topic brought up and they brought it up and Tiffany was verbally defending Jessica and scolding the hosts for bringing it up. Also, I did not confirm this, but people are saying in the comments that in a recent Tiffany concert (Tiffany has already left SM), she has Jessica's songs on her playlist. This is a beautiful video. It's now nearing 9 years since the fallout, so it's heartwarming to be reminded of moments when they seemed genuinely comfortable around each other, and excited to achieve new heights as a unit. Jessica's performance ability and singing style really blossomed during her time with the group.

No one is to be blamed here. If you think it's Taeyeon's fault just because she was the leader of the group then you are wrong. Taeyeon don't have the power to remove any member from the group. It's SM's fault not Taeyeon's. And Jessica was going to leave the group anyways. Instead of hating either of them let's support them on their indivisual activities. if i were to pick who really cared for sica even after she left, it'll be sunny, yoona, hyoyeon and seohyun. not being biased or anything, (even tho taeng is literally my pf) it was obvious they were the most affected. even though i always say taengoo is perfect, the one flaw i hate about her, is her role as a leader. i understand her timid and introverted personality, but that doesn't stop her from being what a leader is supposed to be. though, there are plenty of moments where she showed her motherly side and leader-like side to the members, i just feel like she was never really able to fulfill it in the end.

Taeyeon and Jessica are naturally at conflict. They are rivals in every sense when it comes to their work. Since they are the two main vocal leads and neither can act, they must compete for resources whenever there is a musical/solo/singing variety show opportunity, and also compete for the main vocal parts in all their songs. Another problem was that Jessica was a 7 year SM trainee and the leader of SNSD was either her or Soyeon (later left and joined T-ara) before Taeyeon came along. This is why it is problematic to have such a large group (look at Exo), since many of their roles/areas of expertise will overlap and it's inevitable that rivalries and factions start to form from within. People often say we should separate work and personal life, but when you are a celebrity, your personal life is always going to be impacted by your profession regardless, and it's extremely hard to remain friends when Jessica's interests and Taeyeon's interests are naturally at conflict with one another. Lee Hyori summed it up pretty well when she was talking to IU on her new show, where she explained that even though she's really outgoing, she doesn't have any friends in the industry because they were always competing with one another and it's always her or the other person feeling more jealousy than pride at their 'friend's' success. Not every group is Shinhwa or T-ara, where their friendship can survive after so many years and so much hardship. To be honest, I think the Black Sea incident was the best thing to ever have happened to SNSD, because it pulled the group together, and for a while it made all the members work together and set their competition for resources aside in order to advance the interests of the group as a whole. Those times would linger in their memories for a long time and settle many small conflicts throughout the years, thinking to themselves 'we've been through so much, it doesn't matter if I give something up for one of my teammates'. But a mindset that is always associated with self-sacrifice never lasts, because that's not how humans are, at some point someone or everyone will get tired of always having to compromise and that's when their relationship will start to break apart. I understand because that's exactly what I went through with the partners with whom I set up my first business with. Let's look at the four main SNSD vocals: Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Seohyun. We've all seen the vids where Tiffany and Jessica were obviously at odds, anyone who tries to debate that needs to open their minds and look at the proof objectively rather than from a fan's perspective.The reason for their conflict is that Tiffany and Jessica are too similar: both vocalists, both speak English, both without specific positions in the group (unlike Taeyeon being the leader, Seohyun being the maknae, Yoona being the face etc). So you can probably say that that their conflict was probably at a greater level than the one between Jessica and Taeyeon, especially since Jessica is objectively better than Tiffany in all aspects, whether it be aesthetics, vocals or fanbase. Seohyun is a bit different. She has her own fanbase that's quite different to SNSD's usual fanbase, mainly due to her personality or the 'persona' that has been constructed around her. In that sense she has quite a distinct character, which made her development routes more limited but also more specific and exclusive, so SM will always reserve opportunities that are most suitable for her. As a result, she doesn't need to compete with her fellow members as much as the others. Finally, Taeyeon. Taeyeon doesn't like Jessica, that much is clear. Whether the same feeling is reciprocated is unclear. I don't know the reason why Taeyeon doesn't like Jessica, or when she started disliking Jessica, because from when they first debuted till around mid 2011-2012, they seemed like the closest pair in the group. If I were in Taeyeon's position, there's no reason to dislike Jessica, or at least there's no reason to show it so clearly to the entire world. Taeyeon is the leader, she is the most popular member as well as the best SNSD vocalist, in every sense, it should be Jessica who doesn't like Taeyeon and not the other way around. As the leader of SNSD, Taeyeon never gave the official explanation of what happened on 30/09/2014 that their fans needed, nor did she live up to her role as leader in the general sense, with rumors that she never said a sparing word for Jessica to the agency when SM decided to kick her out of the group. I don't want to get into Taeyeon too much even though I have some much more convincing analysis, simply because she's already been foul-mouthed enough. In all honesty, at the time when Jessica left SNSD I was quite happy, because I felt like it was sweet revenge from the coordinated attack by the big agencies on T-ara in 2012 that destroyed my favorite group. Despite that initial feeling, all I feel now is nostalgia back to the good old days of the 'age of the girl groups'. Jessica leaving SNSD marked the beginning of the end of the 2nd generation girl groups. In September 2014, Nicole and Jiyoung had left Kara, T-ara was no longer one of the two biggest kpop girl groups, 2ne1 had changed their musical style, 4minute was better known as Hyuna and her dancers, and Soshi9 became Soshi8. In September 2017, Kara, 2ne1 and 4minute are now history, SNSD has turned 10 years old and T-ara, despite finally letting the world know the truth, is now saying goodbye. I don't understand the hype about Blackpink, IOI, RV etc nor do I want to understand, because they will never reach the same place in my heart as the 2nd gen girl groups. The kpop craze has ended for me. Nothing can bring us back to those good days.

I really like snsd as group and individuals and I absolutely enjoy their music , but i honestly believe that both taeyeon and tiffany are real b**Che's , like behind those sweet nice smiles and acts , there are some really bad characters . Sunny and hyoyeon are probably the nicest and they were probably the nicest to jessica in her last days in snsd , the others may have ignored jessica or sth like that but they were no where near tiffany and taeyeon . If you watch her interview on the Taxi interview, she said there that all the members are just randomly going to each member everyday. If one member have food, then they will all go to that member. Although I can't say for sure that they were on bad terms by the end of it, from what I've seen on various videos it wasn't on the best of terms either. Their last memories together, the last few moments weren't good enough or the best. Idek if they were worth remembering for any of them. After like 10 years, they parted way in this manner and i think THAT'S THE SADDEST PART. We can just hope that if circumstances were different and they were to meet again they would like to change the situation.
I don't know about any of you, but a lot of you don't understand how tiring it is to be fake with other people. If soshibond was really fake OT9 would not have gone as long as it has, it wouldn't have gone on for nearly 8 years they would have broken up or went on a long hiatus if tensions were as bad as all of you seem to claim. If tensions were so horrible soshi would've broken up shortly after the black ocean. Like in any group, there will always be disagreements and in any friendship there will be times where you think your relationship will be impossible to fix. Geez, some of you act as if you've never had good friends or healthy relationships in your life. If you're a fan like me you've probably seen a good majority of soshi's videos. A few videos aren't enough to capture everything soshi has gone through together. Now, when it comes to taengsic, I believe something did happen there. The two just never talk and initially they seemed really friendly. In the end we won't know what really happend behind the scenes, but based on what I've seen I don't think everything soshi has showed us was a lie.

You guys should know that in 2014, Taeyeon did opened up to Jess, responding to her, laugh with her. And from what we can see, taeyeon seemed to ignore jess, while jess still tried to catch her attention. Was Jess that selfless, be kind to someone that dislike her for a long time? I DONT THINK SO. Knowing jess personality, she is straightforward and doesnt hesitate to speak her mind. She wouldnt let anyone take advantage of her.
