Yet another animatic that makes me think of myself. I was neglected my parents and left out in the yard most of the time so I grew up among the family dogs we've had over the years, because of that I never learned how to be a normal child the few children I did meet were put off by the way I played (more like a dog then a human) and so I had one or two friends at a time but they would leave eventually, that always leave.

I always imagined Snufkin as more of a coyote/fox creature rather than a cat, so I LOVE this!

During this I didn't have a set design tho besides a wild catish creature but later I kinda started drawing him as a meerkat. I do like seeing others design him as many things. I've seen satyrs, otters, and others. It's fun to see what creatures and hybrids ppl come up with.

Well I mean, his dad does have cat eyes. I think it’d be cool for his to ‘overly’ feral y’know? It’d a cool piece for his ark in the new series.

oh geeze. No this is kinda like an au where he does have animal instincts with extra angst. And no. His dad really doesnt. Some people just have super blue eyes. Im very sure Mumriks are another version of humanoids. Even in the original, where Mymbles had antennas on their head, Snufkin and Joxter looked rather human. His character arc will likely be around him opening up to Moomin more with his feelings and admiting its ok to have a place to call home.

I feel like my heart is gone missing. I guess it ran away after overfilling with emotions while I was watching this. What a pitty... I didn't need it anyway, would've traded it for such beauty again.
