Me watching day 1: Yeah, this is really making me want to start a TPS playthrough. Me watching this: Oh yeah, now I remember! Never mind. The pacing and levelling is terrible, even with repeating stuff for the loot randomiser. It's such a shame

I mean, to be fair, Milk could have had a little bit of a more involved time by not skipping sidequests with DarkSiders. But only a little. Level progression is still very ... strange. In the first half you're basically scrambling from sidequest to sidequest staying ~2 levels ahead of the curve only for the game do drag you right down as soon as you're on Helious and suddenly there just isn't enough to do to stay on level.

this is mostly what i noticed when i was playing, plus i may have had someone in my chat reminding me of how the level scaling suddenly ramps up right near the end of the game with minimal questing available

It's actually a hidden element that does more damage against flesh but is resisted by armor.

I think the most fun to get out of pre sequel would be to do a stranded run with the loot randomizer. No progression, just a little shenanigans.

It's sad that people continues to blame 2k Australia for the failure of Borderlands: The Pre Sequel. I'd love to see ANYONE create a great game with only a script and 11 months. This is all Gearbox and 2K Games gave 2K Australia to complete and release the game, a script, some concept art and 11 months. Gearbox and 2K Games are 100% to blame for Borderlands: The Pre Sequel.

@@WholyMilk, what's even worse is WHY Gearbox didn't actually work on Borderlands: The Pre Sequel... they spent 3-4 years developing Battleborn. 🤦‍♂️

i love bltps, my 2nd fav in the franchise, even though there is only 1 story dlc and almost no dedicated drops.

I enjoy the story, movement, and characters of the game, i just cant enjoy the slow progression with minimal uniques

I forget how much harder the Pre-Sequel's bosses are compared to Bl2. Sentinel is one of my favorite bosses and raid bosses in the franchise, I just wished he had a critical spot in the first form.

i do wish he had a crit spot too, also the difficulty is probably partially related to it being hard to get uniques or nice gear frequently during a run

I'll never get over how some people hated the pre sequel because of how many characters had a British or Australian accent, despite most of the previous games' VAs hailing from southern U.S states. Also, Pickle is extremely overhated, dude wants his family's belongings back.

TPS has some neat guns, shame the lategame kinda drags on :c also kinda rough variety wise if the best XP farm also happens to have a really nice stat stick to update every time lmao Could houserule on next pt to reroll darksiders drop on every visit or something?
