So, About 'The Batman...' REVIEW ***SPOILERS*** 

When the batmobile started screaming... hype doesn't even cover it.

This version of Gotham was the most Gotham I've ever seen. It's not just the gothic, old world style architecture and the color palettes, but during a rare shot in full sunlight, every building, street, sidewalk, etc. etc. just looked dingy and dirty and in desperate need of a pressure wash, I was impressed.

Probably the best version of showing his detective skills in any movie.

I love that they are doing a young batman and that Reeves showed how flawed he is when he first started. I think this was a batman the fans (comic people) needed to be reminded of. It was really a great move. The perspective to make this was genius

I liked his fighting style in this one...it was almost like chaotic at times but controlled at the same time.

The Batman tell tales games took a similar direction with the Waynes family and I always loved that aspect of dealing with Batman and Bruce Wayne. Since Bruce could always do more then Batman and how alot of complaints about batman is about the creation of his supervillains since most of all of his major ones feel a connection to The Batman and then end up in messed up Arkham Asylum until they escape rinse and repeat. I like that this movie also dealt with that with the Riddler. The Idea of using the Riddler as a mirror up to Batman and his actions to say how different are you really? This is what you have inspired in the people, when as a Wayne your careless attitude is funding the crime and but as a wayne and batman emboldening crime. A good Batman has to deal with the fact that he's a spoiled rich boy using gadgets and base concepts of systemic injustice to beat up petty criminals instead of fixing the systemic problems as Bruce Wayne. Like all the money that went into being Batman could have gone into helping the city. Robert Pattinson and Christian Bale in my opinion really got that in their portrayals that being Batman is not a sane or smart decision, that it's rooted in a unhinged and selfish frame work from the start. Alot of people are orhpaned they don't then dress up as their greatest fear and beat people up using million dollars of gagets.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes was the first POTA in 2011. Dawn of and War For the Planet of the Apes came out in 2014 and 2017 respectively, and those were directed by Reeves

Also, I really like the sounds as well. And how his heavy steps matched up with the music 👌🏽

I wasn't planning on watching this film..so I was gonna stay and listen to your review..but your passion for this director is so intriguing that I stopped almost 4 mins in lol I'll definitely give this movie a chance! Thanks love 🤎

I agree, I looove that they included the use of social media and c^lt like behaviour. No, in real life people do not dress up like a bat and beat people up. But if they did, and got away with it for as lon as the Batman did, surely there would be copycats. And stans

I loved the Catwoman moment wanting to murder Falcone mirrored Pfeiffer wanting to kill Max Schreck in Batman Returns. Nice callback. Your review was so on point. Zoey was the Catwoman love child of Pfeiffer and Kitt!

Jeffrey Wright is still detective Gordon. I love the Batman. Everything was right about the film. I did nt know about the casting, production etc so I went in blind, but I had no negative thoughts before release date. In one comic Alfred was a former SAS solider ( British special forces) that is why. he was hired by the Waynes. I love seeing the detective work bc it will show why batman has a contingency plan to eliminate the super heroes. This cat woman was a perfect combination between Halle's catwoman and Michelle's catwoman. If you watched the long Halloween part 1 and 2, the Waynes past was shown the exact same way and also the joker, the Waynes' where hinted as bad ppl. Micheal Giacchino ( Jay key no) was the composer who was also the composer for JJ Abrams moves and tv shows, the Pixar movie up, etc. The cinematographer was excellent in this too.

I saw it over the weekend and I loved it!!! I’m definitely going back this weekend to watch it! It was so amazing. I loved the noir element to it. The whole time watching I was just thinking I’m just loving the vibe 😂 but you described it perfectly! I’m also sooo in love with the Wayne manor 😍😩I loved that they went super gothic, as well. And ROB!! He was so perfect as Batman and I loved his emo Bruce. The whole cast was amazing, really just AMAZING! And you’re fr turning me into a Batman fan LOL I definitely see why you love him

Seren I'm so glad you enjoyed it. This film was an A+ for me and I for sure didn't feel the runtime at all. Even when I had to pee, I said nope, I can hold it🤷🏾‍♂️. But I thoroughly enjoyed Robert, Zoe, Jeffrey, Andy, Paul and Colin, this film is legit the most comic book accurate version of the Batman we have seen in recent years. I loved the visuals, the gritty action scenes, and that fuckin Alfred scare toward the beginning, I was not expecting that. Grateful to God we finally got to see this and it's doing very well at the box office.

I loved the movie too. I liked how emo it was. I liked the line about how it's always raining like the city is trying to wash itself and can't get clean. I gotta go watch it a second time.

Trailer looks cool im gonna see it, i like how they made this batman look more depressed and gloomy because thats how batman would be in real life not like those upbeat cartoony batmans from the 90s movies like george clooney
