Love the apparel on you two! ❤ Btw: Not sure where you both are located currently but American Deli (based in Atlanta, Georgia) has THEE best Lemon Pepper wings…chef’s kiss 🤌🏾.
👋🏾…you said those good lemon pepper wings are where exactly?lol I’m in Michigan, but I gotta lot of folks in Atlanta. Also…the hand emoji tells me those wings are IT!
Not sure if you have done this song but I think your dad would enjoy it,Cher Chez LaGhost by Ghostface. One of my favorites. Thank you both for sharing your content. 😊
Personally I prefer Jeezy and TIP(not that one should have to choose), but Gucci's influence is no debate. As a Memphian, I also appreciate the fact that Gucci, shouts out the early Memphis rap scene as one of his biggest influences
I like Gucci because he was a well rounded human lotta humor and goofiness infused in his delivery it made him human and genuine. Anyone who actually been around killa’s dealers and gangsta’s know they ain’t serious 24/7, they make stupid jokes laugh etc all the time, who wants to hear just one aspect of a person? I think Gucci, Camron, Tupac, Peewee Longway and Ghostface were the most genuine artists ever. I think being able to actually put your whole personality out there without trying to just be tough makes the best street music.
@@truthteller6213 trust me I get it. I grew up around real street dudes, so I understand his appeal, and you can tell he's really what he says he is, which I respect. I just like my trap music to motivate me to get money, and his music has a different vibe to me. It is more about being grimey and getting busy on the street level. It's the ugly side of the trap. It's like BMF vs Snow on da Bluff, aesthetically. I like both, but if I had to choose, I like the plug/boss/kingpin trap sound over the street level sound. It's just a preference
Just came from the Tupac video and your dad is wearing a Tupac tee now LMFAO love that (Idk if you have before but some kodak black would be interesting! Specifically from the Painting Pictures album)
How your dad mentioned another Jeezy song i would suggest Go Crazy remix with Jay-Z from his debut album TM101. Or even Gucci Mane and Jeezys first mainstreaming single which happened to have them both on the same track So Icy
3 things: 1) I’d love to see you guys switch, and have your dad show you music to react to. 2) As a father of a 4 year old son and lover of music, I hope to have this same connection with him that the two of you have. 3) This brought me back to college.. lol.
An underrated track that most of lil Wayne “fans” today , dont know 🤦🏾♂️. “Some say greatness gets better with time so I bought a zillion watches but don’t watch mine.”
The disturbing fact about this song is, those yellow diamonds were acquired by robbing another rapper name brisko. Gucci melted the jewelry down and made his own jewelry. The robbery is on RU-vid. (Facts)
You mentioned Gucci remaining relevant longer than T.I and Jeezy because he kept putting out good music…Another thing you should note is: Out of the three, Gucci was the only one to sign and work with young talent. This gave his a competitive edge because hip hop is all about “the new sound”. Working with young artists kept his sound current.
has dad heard Jazmine Sullivan? I feel like she has anmatched vocal range and agility but still maintains a soulful tone that dad would love. Lyrically I feel like she's more of a rapper than a typical singer in that her vernaicular is very... of the time wehre most r&b singers are more classic timeless with their lyrics. Her albums are super conceptual, her lyrics are very real, sometimes shocking, and often funny like a rapper. She's super unique. I think you should react to Heaux Tales. She's been nominated for more than a dozen grammy's and that album was her first win. It has a really cool cohesive concept and there's a short version "Heaux Tales" and a full album "Heaux Tales and Mo Tales"
Lmao I can’t imagine tryna show my dad the music I listen too , I remember showing him dazed and confused the movie , he was born in 46 while me 96. Lol it tripped him out
Please listen to Canserbero and discover his magic, his rap was truly influential for South American Hip Hop, and his story will be remembered forever. All we need is love, guys.
This is my favorite Gucci song lol. I honestly couldn't stand him as a rapper until I heard this. Also, I'm pretty sure the East Australian chick he's talking about is Iggy Azalea
Love the videos. From a brit, please listen to some UK rap, drill or grime. It would be interseting to see both your reactions as Americans used to 90 and 00s american rap. Dave, Central Cee, Digga D, Giggs, Headie one, J Hus, Jme, Skepta, Knucks, Bugzy Malone and Stormzy all increadable ways to enter an incredible new genre and reach a new audience.
I saw your video on Jesus christ superstar may I recommend you listening to one of my favorite Korean artist "Jinho" perform one of the songs from the play it's absolutely incredible how he sings Jesus part it actually made me feel emotional
