So Apparently You Can Illegally Buff Towers... BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - these couple of challenges showcase a strange bug with the alchemist buffing that has actually been around in the game for a long time already! Quite the interesting bug... also featuring a nice puzzle type challenge.

alchs dont buff non-damaging towers. (so the only villages it’ll buff are 5-X-X)

Sentry expert probabily with not middle path is very bad vs ceramics but with top path tier 4 ice monkey buff is like you get 4-2-0 but better and can do extra damage to all.

Is this an old feature that Ninja Kiwi removed from the game? I mean, when you sold Permanent Brew, the buff still remains.

The AMD buff isn’t permanent, that’s the bug (I think)

Normally selling perma brew cancels the buffs, but the bug is that if you sell perma brew before the potion lands, it becomes completely permanent

It’s just something that NK decided. It probably would be really strong if 4th tier alch buffs could buff other 4th tier alch buffs, and then they can buff other towers faster since you can put them in a spot where they’ll never attack. I’m guessing NK didn’t want to handle these kinds of niche cases, so they just made it so that you can’t buff alchs

Alch buffs would eat other alch buffs if you had multiple. Especially in the case of AMD spam

@@silverpotato4272 that’s true, but I think an exception should be made for perma brew. It would held the other paths of alchemist to attack faster after all. I’d work really well with total transformation.
