nagel's protectioon is based on the nagel point in geomertry "In geometry, the Nagel point (named for Christian Heinrich von Nagel) is a triangle center, one of the points associated with a given triangle whose definition does not depend on the placement or scale of the triangle. It is the point of concurrency of all three of the triangle's splitters." and the euler's circuit is based off the eulerian path "In graph theory, an Eulerian trail (or Eulerian path) is a trail in a finite graph that visits every edge exactly once (allowing for revisiting vertices). Similarly, an Eulerian circuit or Eulerian cycle is an Eulerian trail that starts and ends on the same vertex. They were first discussed by Leonhard Euler while solving the famous Seven Bridges of Königsberg problem in 1736"
So, I actually built a real tindangle deck, I’ve had it for a few years. Tindangle is one of those archetypes that doesn’t really work unless you’re running purely archetype. But, to answer the question as to why you would want to give control of a tindangle monster to your opponent using Euler’s Circuit, the tindangle link monster, Tindangle Acute Cerberus, has the ability to create tokens if it battled, once a turn. If you give control of one of the tokens to your opponent and have Cerberus point to it, it gains 500atk for every tindangle monster it points to. Then there’s a trap card, Gergonne’s End, that is an equip trap for Cerberus, and if you send it to the GY, it destroys every card linked to the equipped Cerberus and deal 500 points of damage for each one, then you make more tokens, using Cerberus.
While these Ebay decks are bad, would you ever consider proper upgrades to flesh them out and giving them another go? Aside from anime theme duels It feels like a way to get some wierd archetypes tossed into the ring with one another
Well we see why Konami is reluctant to release Tindangle into Vrains world now I think XD Also that Alec doesn't know Euler's number and even a a nerd I won't make too much fun of him as this one rarely comes up in actual math or movies. I'll just say look it up and I'll admit I hadn't heard the name Nagel before but I know it's some kind of hyper complex number thing so let me look them up in Yugioh Wiki and- Oh wow I never knew this but apparently the name Tindangle is a reference to a lesser known monster in media/mythos named the Hounds of Tindalos! Okay weirdly they play into both Cthulhu lore and math and I'm a dumy and forgot it's not just "Euler's Number" that comes up with a few things. Nagel is apparently referring to the middle point of a triangle....gah Geometry you know what I won't make fun of you I still don't use this stuff from school and I hate it even more now lol Good games guys!
Tindangles are basically the result of some intern who was told, "We need a deck for this anime duel, just come up with something" because he's like, "I will make a deck of Flip monsters based on an obscure story by that guy with the funny cat and make like ten support cards with obscure math references." and the duel writers respond, "bro you just had that in your pocket how long have you been waiting to make this deck"
Lies these are always the best decks the goal is to create the game before its played and playing meta and or “consistent” decks can often times feel like your playing a doomed game even for the winner
I can assure mine was not. It was no less than 200 cards. Had like 12 copies of several vanilla monsters, Had only 4 pieces of exodia and a bunch of those throw away fusion monsters.
Ahhhh the good ol’ days where you and a friend would just randomly add new cards until a deck that can only be described as pure chaos then duel each other for bragging rights
yeah playing meta kinda sucks. its fun but then it loses it luster. anime theme decks or theme decks are the ways we used to play. sometimes just archetypes or attributes coz its fun to create your own theme deck and act like one of the characters in the show
Heads up: I found two licensed Yu-Gi-Oh coloring books at the Dollar Tree yesterday (next to their book section, they have a bunch of coloring books). But like, the official first through third season anime monster artwork inside. I know that's random and unrelated but in this economy, I thought y'all should be aware of it.
all the video is R&C OST, the intro is the boss from gemlik when they open the deck it's from Eudora main theme, when the duel start it's drek's OST and the outro is Veldin :D
Sounds like the ebay decks are just some structure deck leftovers smashed together into a "deck" with whatever random cards they have sitting around used to fill spots if its not a full deck.
I enjoy this eBay deck duel series as you won’t know how they turn out and are really funny to watch. I am also wondering when will the next Slifer slacker episode be out?
Back when I used to play card fight vanguard I used to buy so many budget decks online. The decks weren’t even bad just didn’t have perfect guards (“hand traps”) and use the b grade boss monsters from the sets. The power level wasn’t massively different so it was just a fun way of having different decks.
Dude, lucky. Last year I started buying OG CF Vanguard cards and I couldn't find any completed decks. Only from the reboot series. It cost me way more than I expected to make 9 playable decks.
@@GreenDinoRanger ahh well they’re nothing special just like garmore & blaster blade, overlord (no end) and waterfall, and a bunch of double starter deck melds.
@@dittmar104 Ah, that's fair. Half the decks I already had trial decks to build off of, but I made the others from scratch (except Nova Grappler, I bought its trial deck as well).
This is one of my favorite series you guys do. The decks are so laughably bad but always entertaining thanks to you all. I would love to see more of these, or I know it’s been suggested before, but maybe a video where you guys take some lesser known archetypes (like Tindangles) and maybe try to build a decent deck with them and have duels
You have to always explain why the Cyberdark monsters effects are. Haven't you watched GX? When this card is Normal Summoned, I can equip 1 level 4 OR lower dragon type monster to it, then this card gains atk equal to the atk of the equiped monster. Why didn't you attack directly with Cyberdark EDGE? I can't blame you forgetting that it has another effect. These effects are bad under normal situations. Horn does piercing and Keel does 300 damage (but needs to destroy its target in battle)
This would be a great format/mode in MD, but obviously within certain parameters that would make sense regarding support cards. The programming necessary to balance it would probably be a nightmare tho lol
I use to sell pre made decks on ebay for 25-50$ and i feel like they were NEVER as bad as these. I also never made them out of these bad archetypes though and also included a full extra deck & card sleeves 😅😂
Wasn’t the Tindangle Angel effect supposed to have enable a face-down defense position special summon rather than a face-up attack position special summon?
