The Calamity Mod also features several harder difficulty modes, such as Death mode and revengeance mode five new biomes and new structures, a new class, a new leveling mechanic, more than thirty new songs, over fifty recipes for previously uncraftable vanilla items and other assorted changes to vanilla gameplay.

This actually makes a lot of sense. After all, if Draedon had to get Cosmilite to build the Devourer's armor, he'd obviously need some kind of small lab within the Distortion to store the materials and make his armor.

The devs have said that, the distortion will be more "subworld with a focus on exploration and a DoG arena on the side"than "DoG arena with a subworld on the side".

There will only be two subworlds, the Distortion and the Dragon's Aerie, as those are the only two locations that can justifiably be a subworld.

Summoner armor set belonging to Godslayer instead of Silva is an interesting change given that I always thought of melee, ranged and rogue as physical classes and magic and summon as magical classes, especially once you consider that weapons of the first group don't consume mana where as the weapons of the second group do and thus for me at least Godslayer was physical and Silva magical but oh well, changes to the armor sets still look very nice

In the new lore Silva armor is Braelor's armor set, and he is more of a close quarters brutalist so Silva being melee and something else makes sense.

It’s possible, but there’s not much room to move him. They could make him post yharon, but if he was to be post exos scal would have to be buffed (or exos nerfed) or vice versa.

@@Jar_Jar_Twinks You know the update is quite a ways away right and exactly how they're implementing the subworld isn't certain. Like I've heard talk of Cal creating their own subworld system that will work or OG subworld library may be patched for Multiplayer support by then. Pinkymod has proved multiplayer subworlds are doable at least. If worst does come to worst though and the Distortion isn't MP compatible there's still a vast majority of the mod that will work and DoG as is isn't the most multiplayer friendly to begin with. Not sure where you got defensive from, I was more so questioning what you meant. But I get a brick wall impression from you so I'll just leave it at that.

His sprite is coming... eventually. It's stuck in wing animation hell at the moment, and the devs are more focused on the upcoming Sunken Sea expansion.

Draedon doesn't come from another planet, and an Exo subworld won't be added. The lore of Calamity was rewritten recently (in mid February), so you might wanna take a look at that if you wanna learn more about Draedon :)

No panic subworlds work in mulziplayer, at least in all mods whit subworld I played But it might be that you have to install one of the suport mods (Subworld Library, or another)

I wouldn't hold your breath. This won't come for a good while. It will likely come with the Distortion update, which is far in the future. If you wait for anything to do a Calamity playthrough, I'd wait for the Sunken Sea expansion.

Personally, while I do feel saddened that we’re losing god slayer melee, since I’ve always associated DoG as the brute physical one of yharim’s inner group, I feel fine if it’s becoming more distortion themed than specific to DoG (but that’s just my dumb opinion)

I rlly like the godslayer reworks, its one of my favorite armors mainly cuz of the dash although I'm rlly curious about the summoner gslayer set, is it getting a new setbonus minion? and if so would it be the sentinels, cosmic guardians, or something else? I think that the forbidden archive planned future purpose would be to access the distortion if that ever happens. What is going to happen to elysian tracers? godslayer hoverboard looks sick fr ok im done yapping

i hope all of the tracers are reworked to actually be boots with different abilities and not in the same line. wings attached to boots with extremely low flight time compared to other options (excluding seraph) seems like a horrible acc to use over wings. even them simply boosting flight time instead of being wings would make it better

Sadly the devs of infernum said they wont be updating it anymore maybe when putting the mod to the recent tmodloader version and some bug fixing but other than that they wont be adding anything new.

I like the idea of an even bigger DoG. Personally, i never play without Infernum Mode but even though i love Infernum DoG, i hope that Dominic will add the big DoG in a new Update for Infernum too. However, i think Astrum Aureus needs a rework more than any other Boss. Astralgeldon has his seperate Mod Bossfight which is awesone but Astrum Aureus feels unfinished since it appeared. But that just my opinion.

I think that astrum deus is more incomplete in my opinion because it is literally space destroyer that splits on half health, but a rework of both the Astral bosses could be nice...

infernum is not adding any new content anymore, and the devs are actively working on other projects now. infernum DoG wont be getting any changes.

Devourer of Gods... The hardest boss I've ever beat. Even upon almost 3 year I cannot forget my dear DoG. I never will. And now.... Someone got a BRILLIANT idea to triple it's size! AWESOME, right?
