Teaching a kid that hard work can be fun/rewarding is a great thing to learn early on in life. Looks like you guys built up a lifetime supply of firewood there🤣. Have a good weekend Elliott!👍

Most airports can’t get rid of their de-ice totes. Get in touch with them and they’ll probably be glad to help you out…I used to sell mine for $20/tote just to get rid of them. I know they are worth a lot more though.

I’ve actually asked the local airport. They keep them on hand and fill the totes out of a huge tanker truck.

Well, my guess is you just go the other way and get a bark box to make it as loud as possible. It'll be like white-noise for the kids!

I actually have a custom made muffler on that blue saw. It’s deafening. If it were at a constant RPM it wouldn’t be an issue. It’s the constant change in RPM that makes it noisy. I think that’s why I don’t have a problem with the splitter cuz it’s one tone the entire time

Electric motor on a large round saw blade is my guess.

Between you and Jake I will be broke! Gloves/hats/shirts/saws and splitters…… Child labor is best…… I need lights as well so I’m waiting to see what you use….. Less noise??? No Clue……
@EverythingElliott

Child labor is the cheapest labor out there, hands down…and I’m still working on my lighting solution, but I think I have it figured out. Stay tuned!

I also have a 2228 with a attached conveyor where did you get your grizzly bars from or did you make them yourself?

I built them myself and did a video detailing how I did it... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HEbmR38AzF8.html

Plug in electric chain saw, but don't know if I've seen super long bars on those either.

Elliot don’t mess around, you need stadium lights, a play area for the baby, and a trampoline for the neighborhood kids. And when it gets dark, your wife could start the fire and make some s’mores lol lol lol.

My guess is a not a battery powered chain saw now , my guess was a battery powered chain saw 🤪
@EverythingElliott
@EverythingElliott 5 месяцев назад
I’ve run a couple battery saws and wasn’t happy with the run time you get out of a battery so that’s not a great solution for me. Stay tuned!

Hey Elliot, seems like you just made a muffler that's pretty loud!! Now you want quiet, too funny. Fab a hydraulic saw with electric power and run some hoses!!
@EverythingElliott
@EverythingElliott 5 месяцев назад
That muffler is loud! No doubt about that, however the saw runs so much better with it. Guess you’ll have to stay tuned and see what I come up with!

No guess but very interested. Had pacemaker surgery and advised running a chainsaw may stop the heart.its an ignition thing. Hope battery is not my only option. Any suggestions anyone has I’m listening 🪵🪚🤔
