I’m three minutes in and i already want to thank you for showing the moldy things from your fridge. It’s teaching me it’s not just me and I should not feel like a failure when that happens. So thank you!

A good idea for herbs is to freeze them in ice cubes with olive oil. That way you can preserve them longer and just add them to whatever it is that you're cooking. For mint, I prefer to freeze it with some water in ice cube trays, that way I can use it for lemonade.

My favourite vacation destination is our family cabin in the Swedish forest. No cellphone connection, no wifi. Just us, the kids and our large family. Food, games and nature. Everything we need to be truly happy❤️

Hi! Thanks for the great video! Quick suggestion: we have a sink just like yours and we purchased a sink grate that fits it perfectly and protects the bottom of the sink from scratches. It is removable for cleaning and I highly recommend it. Also helps with drainage when you have a full sink. We’ve had our sink about 3 years and it still looks brand new! The first time with kids was just before Christmas. Magic Kingdom was beautiful with Christmas trees everywhere. I got very emotional. There's something about doing Disney with your own children that takes it to a whole different level.

Natalie, it's been a little while since I sat down to a video with you and can I just say it was like sitting down to a coffee chat with an old friend 💕

We don't take too many vacations right now but the one that I remember the most was when My parents took me to Chesapeake Bay and we went across the Chesapeake Bay bridge! That was my most memorable time! I think what makes it most memorable was because we had my dad's little old single row blue truck and we were all three squished together for the entire trip. We had a lot of fun and we didn't even realize how squished we were at the time. We loved every minute of it!

My husband used to get so mad at me because I’d want the house clean and clean sheets so when we came home all I had to do was do laundry…. Made vacation so much more enjoyable 😃

I get abdominal migraines, as well. I was unable to keep food down consistently for over six months, all the while I was being pricked like a pincushion while they tried to diagnose the problem. It was a huge relief when they were finally able to diagnose and treat the problem. I'd never considered tight-fitting clothing as a potential trigger for them (I often get them in high stress/anxiety situations). I hope that your trip goes smoothly, and that there are no migraine interruptions. ❤

I loved that you got a chance to edit while the kids played outside. What if you did a "favorite things" video of your favorite kids toys and games? Like the trampoline, and you did the osmo before.... just those "get you through the day and they actually stay busy and happy" kind of toys/activities. So it doesn't have to be a thing you buy. Like = scooping pasta and beans used to be one of my kid's favs. So glad you did your Disney trip already at this point. Excited to see some footage from there. Yep, it happens, things get forgotten in the fridge and go bad. I've been doing a bi-weekly check which has helped reduce waste but it still happens once in a while.

Natalie - I am SO THANKFUL I watched this video. When you were showing what you were packing for your trip, all stretchy waistbands - because of abdominal migranes - and explained how/why you get them- ALL THE ALARM BELLS IN MY BRAIN WENT OFF and I had to stop the video. This is what my 8 year old has. I am certain. I will ask her pediatrician of course, but after a Google search- this is exactly what happens to her. We used to say she isn't a "good traveler" and was like an "old cranky woman" when we did travel. Not sleeping regularly, enough, traveling, eating more junk foods etc - the unexplained stomach pain, nausea, loss of appetite - that's exactly it. Her Dr screened her for every severe stomach / stomach area problem and could not explain the off/on nature of the issue. My husband suffers from migranes, and I just read it can be a heretary factor as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing. I am literally going to call her Dr tomorrow to discuss it. Obviously as an adult, what you may do to help yourself may differ from what an 8 year old can do - but what helps you avoid them, or relieve them once you have stomach pain?

My favorite vacation destination is just simple family camping up north Michigan! I haven’t had any big vacations in the last decade or so but my husband and I are excited to plan our 10yr anniversary trip to Maine or Colorado in 2024, and a Disney trip for the kids in 2025! Have fun!

Several times… I was basically raised in Florida…. So my first trip, they only had the main park. It has expanded a ton since then!

I have been to Disney world three times but I haven’t taken my kids yet and i really look forward to getting to take them one day! Also I just love you and how real you are. I think it was the laundry comment that made me relate but pretty much everything you say could be something I would say. lol! I’m so glad you all had a good time in Disney!

Yep! We live 1:45 from Disney world! My oldest went for the first time at 14 months, 2nd went at 12 weeks and my Covid baby went at 7months. Haha we used to be annual pass holders and it was a wonderful season pre Covid.

I’m born and raised in Florida (living in Orlando now actually, so welcome!!) -and I’m grateful my parents got my sister and I annual passes to Disney/universal many years when I was growing up! I hardly go now ( went to Universal for the first time in about 4 years )… even though I’ve lived in Orlando-these past 4 years!-and only live 25-30 mins away from the parks! I’m so happy my parents took me when I was young (but not too young to not remember) because of this very reason-it’s much harder to go now as an adult (for many reasons). And I always enjoyed going to theme parks-and still do! You guys will have a blast! [Check weather updates, particularly weather app radars frequently because Orlando is super weird about weather and constantly changing!! Temperatures can still vary from day to night too, so it can be pretty hot and humid during the day but still cool down a bit when it gets dark!]

Any recommendations for suitcases? Love the different colors for everyone.

Favourite vacation destination… where ever my extended family is. We live far from them as my husband is a pastor. So getting my kids to see cousins, aunts and uncles… that’s what I love. My husband would say an all inclusive in Mexico.

Hope you enjoyed Disney. We actually went during the latter part of the pandemic. Disney procedures were incredibly safe during that time and it wasn't crowded at all. We had a blast. Our daughter (who is Down Syndrome) was so excited. She is in her 30's and had not been since she was 2.
