and this is why even if you are far behind never surrender since even games that should be a win someone will find a way to throw the win away

How does someone play that amount of matches, attain master rank multiple times, and still not understand the bare basics of handling the final objective? That Pikachu had to be a plant for the opposing team.

It happened few days ago my Mewtwo got Ray but I died in the battle. My teammates went to score and didn't return to defend our base until the last 5 sec. As a Cinderace I couldn't defend against 4 of the enemy Pokemon. End score was 583 to 584.We lost by 1 point.

I’m just gonna leave this here: Pokémon Unite is a 8 minute warm up, 2 minute gameplay game. It doesn’t matter what happens in the first 8 minutes of this game, all that matters is the last 2.

My team surrendered a few days ago after losing to a ray steal. We were still in the lead by good overcaps and they only had that one deci with a ray shield... easy to defend you think? Yeah, but my trioQ + NPC (as always a ninja) thought we just quit....

the worst lost my friends and i have had is we had taken out 4/5 of the opposing team during the ray fight and were about to kill ray until our hoopa random drops a portal that teleports all of us back to base and the last player on the other team takes ray….

I wish they would've spamed "Thanks" at the end, just to put the icing on the cake, lmao

The other day there was a situation in the last team fight where if our garde ulted we could have wiped their team. Unfortunately, our garde was busy backcapping...

Just had an exactly same game today on urshifu too, i had 11 kills and we broke all goals before ray, and my teammates had 5+ kills each too, but all it took was a leafeon getting overconfident and diving first without us, with 1 player down and the slowbro uniting me, we lost 🙂

I can feel you. Recently I played a match and I was saying my brother this is a win and I lost because the started hitting ray before gets down anyone of the enemy team

My painful loss is I played comfey (without mewtwo/zacian/waterbear) i played perfectly, and kept my ally zera and scizor alive - zeraora never died once at all before ray. Unfortunately due to input lag and an enemy Umbreon. I couldn't jump into my zeraora because the Invincible frames and mean look happened at the same time Which costs us the game because both me and zeraora were 40 seconds respawning and my three other teammates decided to save their unitemove.

This Tip is SATIRE but i say: DO NOT ENABLE OPPOSING SURRENDER BUTTON and ALLOW AUTOMATIC OPPOSITION IF OPPOSING SURRENDER OPTION IS ENABLED. If you lose rayquaza, always surrender because of bad communication and not taking objectives too well BUT if you do THIS i said before, that option becomes a troll because you can't surrender because of opposition so always disable the option i said. ("never surrender" line becomes "surrender because we always lose") i hate developers for adding this kind option that would never change the game at all. Its still the same

That's why one should never surrender, even if you are playing against Chris. You never know that your ally is in the opposite team. 😂

Ugh, this is always so frustrating. This is why Unite ranked needs an entire point-based rework. In every other game that has Competitive/ranked, the top rank (Masters in this case) are always like the top 5% of the player-base. The best of the best. Masters in Unite feels like the top 50% of the player-base, so there's a lot of garbage in it. A 40% w/r player in Masters should not exist lol. They does not deserve to be there

Painful loss was this morning, our lapras JUNGLE went afk and never helped bot even tho we were struggling with stacking clefary and garde, bot got destroyed fast, match snowballed by ray we had 1 afk and 2 running about regi in the main with mewtwo and 3 others destroying us while garde got ray for them, so disgustintly unfun that theres 0 teamwork. Didnt lose any points for this trash thankfully, so unfun

My god, had the same experience last game in unite and surprisingly it was also a Pikachu....and at that moment I knew it was time for me to say goodbye to unite...it doesn't even feel good anymore while playing unite, the overall feeling is just frustrating, irritating, tilting. Unless they implement a way for us to play with people at similar skill levels, I truly believe that this game(ranked) is beyond fixing and relies heavily on luck of draw. 45% winrate should not be paired with a 60% winrate. Especially if that 45% winrate is solely responsible for the loss.

Don't think that you are unlucky, this happens to us all the time. Today I was trying to reach blue star with greninja and lost 5 games in a row, even after getting jungle stolen by my own teammates, I managed to dominate 4 games out of 5 by getting 12-20 kos each time and doing well over 65k each time but still lost every single one due to dumb teammates and requaza. And my rating is in master 1400s

So what I would consider to be my most painful loss was actually quite recently I think I was playing Sylveon and I had an ally playing Blastoise the enemies got Rayquaza they all scored but we were dominating like really really dominating we went to score Blastoise was able to score 80 points I was about to score but leafeon stopped me right in time and then he killed me and we lost by one point :'

Had a similar experience a while back, was popping off with Azumarill. Had 20 kills and all the opposing goal zones destroyed while all of ours was still up, our defender trevenant decided to overextend before the ray spawn. We got beat in a 4 vs. 5 and the match suddenly flipped in favor of the opposing team. We lost by 15 points.

A 45% winrate along with a good player is such a disastrous matchmaking system. Timi is really really stupid, can't they fathom how idiotic this system is 🤯

This is why whenever we have a huge lead for the majority of the match, I start to get very nervous because there's a massive chance we'll lose it all over ray. Reason why it sucks to be the person to carry an entire game, since it means the moment you get ko'd, everything instantly goes to shit. Also why do people insist of remaining in the enemy base after scoring in the last minute?? Fucking go defend your own base! I've lost many matches because my team gets too cocky, only to get destroyed for overstaying and then the enemy having an entire minute to get to our base and deposit our team's remains...

I’m not great at this game, but I’ve a 56% WR with about as many battles at that Pikachu. I can’t believe how you can do 2k battles with a Pokémon, lose more than you win, and not end up thinking about your strategy. It’s baffling.

Yesterday i went afk following all game a lane cinde that waiting still for last hitting my jungle.. after 9 minutes of nothing, i see 5 enemies on rayquaza, press mewtwo ult, ome shot 4 people and rayquaza and win the fame from 0 to 370 points... That was the most ridicolous game ever... We were afk for almost 8 minutes

The reason why people arent real anymore is because some get fed up with dev's terrible balancing of characters. competent quit playing due to broken releases nowadays. hence why there's a potion cinderace and a gardevoir with stacking items existing?

I just finished a battle against Mewtwo comfey, what a painful match, Mewtwo is there jungler and yeah enemy jungler always gang in my lane . 🤧.., the comfey make him immortal, painful 9 minutes, at 1 minutes my teammates some how manage to steal reqwaza from enemy and we win, but it's not feel any fun, Mewtwo do 188k damge

I already knew that the players from Pokémon unite aren’t real. Except ranked games. Standard battle is the most obvious. 1st reason is that they dont go back after they have really low hp. And my 2nd reason is they move really weirdly. They’re like making line movement instead of smooth movement.

Last week I had an annoying kid on comms all game and come time for Ray he left us fight 4v5 while he solo’s and didn’t kill Ray, we ended up barely losing the fight just for the 2 remaining guys to kill him and take Ray and then barely win. He then tried blaming everyone else and it made me get on comms to ask him what his dumb thought process was to not fight with us. He was Mewtwo btw

Sub 50% win rates in masters are the reason this happens. Litteraly clueless people playing the game without an incentive to get better as they will reach Master rank anyway. Makes ranked unplayable if you're not stacked with 5.

My most painful loss? Well, here it goes... Context: I was grinding battles to get a gold ribbon on Aegislash, my main, and I ended up with another group of bad teammates against people that were probably my level of skill. We were losing the match, and the other team was ripping Zapdos. (yes, I still play Remoat Stadium, I just really like it.) I was sitting in the bushes, unite move ready, waiting for the right moment. Eventually, I ulted Zap, and I managed to snip him. I had done this multiple times before, and it honestly sucks that I have to snipe the bird with a non-sniper just to give us a chance at winning. I went to go score, but three of the opposing team chased me and they eventually took me out. As I waited to respawn, I thought to myself: "my teammates got this. They can score now and we'll win!" Yeah, they just continued to farm. I think they got a sixty in, but it was already too late. The other team had the perfect opportunity to score since my whole team was out doing who knows what. Moral of the story? Pokemon Unite, please stop pairing me with people who can't score when I get Zapdos.

The game never was fair or skill based. Don't know why ppl still expect changes.

Ive had quite a few teammates that run in circles sometimes, dont take farm when i give them last hits or they just take my damn jungle or stand there and watch me clear it. Are these bots or trolls? When i checked their win rate they looked good. I don't get it
