Its definitely fixable. New plugs, rings, valves....if adam has any of that permatex care packafe left he should have some valve lapping compound to seal them himself.

In the reveal video he said they bought it sight unseen, which means they never got to see the car in person before buying it, but trusted the place they bought it from to do that for him, sadly they didn't though.

He bought it from a random guy. The sell was setup through the importer. So it's not their responsibility to check the car they aren't selling.

A car can drive perfectly well with cracked ringlands, most people won't even know until it's too late or the oil level starts dropping fast. Loose plugs don't always show symptoms either but it generally happens when the cylinder sees un compressible vapor. For a first impression of a stock motor I don't think he was grasping, I think he's just used to high performance and took it at face value. My point is he doesn't drive anything that's stock so how can anyone expect him to know before his inspection.

@@zerohourdrift prices range from 15k for a resto object and 25-40k for a nice car. Parts are fairly cheap at Alfaholics or Classicalfa and almost everything is re manufactured when it comes to parts. Alfas are cheap to own, its not a Ferrari.

NT DT trust me dude... when you buy an old fixer upper vintage car, it’s a hell of a lot of money to restore, even for American stuff, and that’s coming from a guy who’s fixed things from vintage muscle cars to jdm stuff. To do it properly, You have to have the car acid dipped or sand blasted to eliminate any and all shoddy bodywork, fix all the rust and sheet metal, then thousands on paint, thousands on new parts, thousands on an engine build, thousands on interior and hundreds on little stupid trim and stuff. I did a small restoration on a 74 corvette, and trust me it adds up FAST. Even for minor ones. Then like I said, maintenance, insurance, depreciation from damage, etc. it may not be a Ferrari but it’s still a vintage car and a vintage Italian one at that. It’s expensive
