This performance is literally the brilliant technique festa. She is so precise, perfect and seamless with such a high note belting. As you said, her quick switch between mix and head voice is so flawless. we can see every single technique we can do with your voice! : )

The man at 1:13 and 8:32 is Grammy Award winning Michael Bolton, who was so impressed with So Hyang that he offered her to tour with him. She refused, which is consistent with her belief not to gain money or fame through singing (but rather to sing for God and to comfort others going through difficult times). They did sing together during his tour. Fun Fact: She warms up before a performance singing Mariah Carey songs

There is no limit to her voice and technique. She even rock and hip-hop. It's hard to imagine, but she does it too well. You can't imagine hearing the original songs first, but it's amazing to see her sing. It's better to completely reinterpret it in her way. Everything So Hyang does while singing is no mistake she practices a song 100s of times before perdorming it .. if it is there she meant for it to be there

I know she was sick when she sang with pneumonia when she sang You raise me up. You can hear nasal sound. She suffered pneumonia for a number of years because she infected with hap B during blood transfusion when she went for operation on cancer age 20/21. I didn't hear any nasal sound when she sang this song.

nasality helps you to bridge through registers. As long as the voice remains bright, clear and resonant its no problem. The nose is on your face, you can't outright escape it when singing anyway. Lets enjoy , she still sounds good!

She sounds terribly nasal to me. I am her biggest fan but, as much as I love this brilliant performance it's hard for me to get accustomed to the nasality. I shared this clip with a German friend of mine, a professional singer and her main remark was the nasality. Some hear it, some dont. But this is still a magnificent performance.

Two more Koreans that are very impressive, they are One of the best KPOP singers is "AILEE" she sings "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU" for me the best cover. Then there is "J. Fla" she does "BILLIE JEAN"!! Best cover!!

She sounds “nasally “ to you, yet you try to mouth the lyrics that you don’t know TOTALLY makes sense(not), and throws your credibility out the door. It’s called respect, especially since English is not her native language. Perhaps next time you choose to do a reaction you might research the artist? You should’ve known she’s a cancer survivor--what jokes do you have now?

The late West Virginian Bill Withers song. She's a wonderful singer but I don't like her version. Sorry. Two of my favorite Korean singers are J.K. Kim Dong Wook and Lee Seung Chul. Awesome voices.
